We had a LOVELY time at the Snowed Inn! Our room was perfect - clean and cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub - I wish we could have used it more, but their sign up system is perfect so that everyone gets a turn. Homemade breakfast was delicious, and the location was ideal. 10/10 would stay again!
The Snowed Inn is absolutely wonderful! Quaint rooms, a warm and cozy front room with a dual fireplace and terrific hosts! Loved the ability to order a glass of wine and relax by the fire. Good choices for breakfast too! Everyone was so friendly! Thanks for a great vacation!
We were not sure what to expect but from the moment we walked in we were treated with smiles, kindness and warmth. The fire was on in the sitting area, we were shown where the coffe, tea and cookies were and then shown our room. The next morning we went for our breakfast after we choose what we wanted the night before and time we wanted to eat. To our surprise it was more than we expected. Everything was made personal and food warm and fresh and so delicious. We will be staying there again when we are in that area. The owners were great, warm and welcoming.
From the moment we walked into the Inn, we felt at home. Ken made us feel so welcomed with his obvious passion for his beautiful Inn. Breakfast was perfect and Eric was super friendly. We stayed only 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. It is so well run. So beautifully appointed and just so cozy. Gorgeous area with great restaurants. We are not skiers and went in the Fall but if you are a skier, this place has absolutely everything you need. Next time we hope to come back in the Winter and really get "snowed inn"!!
We are visiting family in the Boston area, and decided to take a two night trip to Vermont. We stayed at the Snowed Inn, and were pleasantly surprised. It is so cozy. We had a fireplace in our king room — everything is decorated beautifully and was spotlessly clean. It is very conveniently located. We were able to walk to a couple of restaurants, and every morning we took a walk on the access road. Breakfast was great. You fill out your order the night before and drop it in a box. The next morning, they place your name on a table and bring you your food. I had a bacon and cheese quiche, and my boyfriend had the Belgian waffle. Both were delicious. Coffee and tea are available all day, and warm chocolate chip cookies are placed in the lobby every afternoon. The owners are onsite and very accessible. We loved staying here, and hope we get to visit again.…
We enjoyed our stay here. We weren’t sure what to expect as we booked last minute. It was off season in this area so it was pretty quiet. Ocean checked us in and she was very pleasant. Showed us the surroundings and to our room. Filled out cards for our next morning breakfast which was waiting for us in the morning. We had a beer on the outside deck which was very nice.
My husband and I stayed 1 night in August. Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Top notch service! Hot tub was available on a reservation basis. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Very close (walking distance) to restaurants and local grocery stores.
Cute unpretentious place, small and quiet. Super nice staff! The Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Simple but nice breakfast. Communal kitchen so there’s a fridge to store stuff. It’s nice to stay in a place where you can open the windows.
Great accommodation in a beautiful location …… the setting was great , the hosts and staff were very welcoming . The breakfast options were very good and the gathering place had a great ambience too it . The inn had everything to enjoy either a summer or winter break and we would highly recommend. Thank you
What a wonderful, relaxing retreat in Killington VT! Snowed Inn has a very cozy, clean, and homy kind of vibe. Owners Ken and Carolyn are lovely people and very attentive. Their staff are also very interested in their guests and are eager to accommodate. We enjoyed a four night stay mostly out and about exploring and one day lounging around the inn’s cozy common area and large, peaceful patio. The free breakfast choices are wholesome and generous. 24-hour coffee/tea are great touches as are the fresh baked cookies. They offer beer and wine and your choice of pizza, charcuterie and a few other nice and very convenient snacks. Several good restaurants are nearby, as is a good grocery market. We ended each night with a relaxing hot tub. We look forward to a return trip to this little gem.…
