Clean rooms, nice lounge area with great fireplace, awesome breakfast! All the charm of a older ski lodge. Comfortable beds. We've stayed 2x for skiing and this is the place to stay that won't break the bank! Location can't be beat!! We'll be back again next ski season!
My son and I stayed 4 nights and were pleasantly surprised about every aspect of the Mountain Sports Inn. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and clean, The staff was always friendly and accommodating and there were plenty of solid breakfast options to start the day off right. There is an overall chill, rustic vibe to the place and we will certainly be returning next season!
Our stay at the Mountain is was great. My father and I were treated with the upmost respect from the staff. They made us feel at home. The director of operations, JP, helped us with our booking complications. He eased our worries and helped us sort out our problems with ease. He was great. The stay was fantastic. The staff was hospitable and the hotel had everything that was needed. (Including: a great bar with good food, a distillery on site, heated pool and other amenities). The rooms were very comfortable. Well taken care of and clean. The beds were fantastic and perfect for an afternoon after skiing. ALSO, a balcony with a mountain view! We would recommend this place to all that are looking for a great place to stay in killington.
This place is awesome! My friend and I stayed here the night before we were supposed to ski at Killington and we ended up arriving late. When I called, the lady who answered was really nice and let me know the procedure (super simple) for when we did arrive. Breakfast is literally the best continental breakfast that I’ve ever had (it’s just like being at my grandma’s house). We really appreciated the price and that we could get a room with two twin beds. It was connected to the next room (which I imagine is great for families) but we didn’t hear any noise. Would absolutely recommend this place for skiers.
Building(s) and rooms look like they “belong” in the mountains, which is totally appropriate. Rustic design, plain and simple styling. Twin beds we had were absolutely awesome. Very comfy and quiet. Beds and pillows/sheets were extremely clean. Shower water pressure left something to be desired, but you’ll still be able to get yourself clean! Hot breakfast (available every am, specially ordered by each paid guest per room) was such a pleasure. Breakfast options were adequate, along with continental options as well. Food was good and included with the room… Staff could not have been friendlier, they were wonderful! Thank you, and we def plan on staying here again!
Stayed at Mountain Sports Inn twice last year winter with my kids. First time stayed in a premium two double room with one of my sons. Enjoyed it enough came back a month later with two of my kids and stayed in their premium suite. Great service. Very helpful staff. We all enjoyed the continental breakfast; great variety of food. We were here during a peak of the COVID pandemic in 2021 and felt things were very clean and safe. Short drive to the mountain and other restaurants and shops along the access road. Great value overall for what you get. Planning to come back again this winter.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mountain Sports Inn in Killington. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and was served on real plates and cleared by the staff. The staff was friendly and helpful and always seemed happy. We were there in October when the leaves were pretty. The rate was reasonable and we found the accommodation at the last minute during fall leaf season. We would go back again because they made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Spent one night here in late August. 1). Nice breakfast - real plates/cups (not plastic) 2). Room was nice - NOTE - no A/C, only window and fans 3). Front desk person was local and would answer questions 4). No coffee in room/lobby 5). Beds were newer
We enjoyed our stay here. It’s basically lodging for snow skiers but of course anyone can stay here. No A/C here but we didn’t need it cause they have an oscillating and box fan in the room. It is fairly cool here with low humidity and you can open window to let cool mountain air inside. Place is older but clean as a pin and everything works. WiFi was OUTSTANDING running at about 140 Mbps which I have never seen at a hotel anywhere. They also have upgraded by putting in an electrical outlet adapter that will accept up to six electrical plugs instead of the standard two. A nice touch. In addition to that, they added another electrical box that you can use to charge things via usb, which is very helpful too. No dust problems and my allergies were just fine. No microwave or coffeemaker in room but nice little refrigerator and they serve a continental breakfast (I didn’t see any meats) with decent coffee in the morning. They also have a hot tub in the building but I didn’t use it. Our room had a queen bed and a twin bed in it. Pillows were nice and fluffy yet firm enough to support properly and the sheets were fresh and bed was made up nice and tight. Relatively quiet, dark enough and good for a comfortable nights sleep. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again.…
I travel all over the country and I have stayed in a wide variety of hotels and motels. I ended up at the Mountain Sports Inn more by chance than anything else but I will most definitely make it a choice destination the next time I am in Killington. The decor may take you back in time a bit but so will the way they treat you. You will be wowed by the comfortable feel and the personal attention you will receive. It actually has that mountain vibe. You will experience a warmth that can only be created naturally not contrived. I lived in Aspen in the late 80’s and The Mountain Sports Inn has that kind of feel and atmosphere. I stayed there for over a week and I had the opportunity to stay in 4 different rooms. They went out of their way to make sure I had a room and a good price. My trip was not planned so I did not have a reservation but they made it work for me and did so gladly. I know that I have said it already but it is a very comfortable place to stay and be. The Inn is also set up to take care of your ski equipment and gear. If you have a question wether it be about skiing hiking or the area they will not only give you an answer but they will take the time to explain it as well. Over all I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and the Inn and its staff were great.…
