Room was fairly clean except the futon. Larger suite close to rt 100, and near enough to Woodstock. Reasonable price in the summer. Note much more geared to winter ski season, and right near the Killington slopes, so that may color my review. Bed uncomfortable with noisy springs- wife up most of the night (I can sleep anywhere). No air conditioning (we visited in the summer), and they only had two plastic fans. We had booked a two bed room, but the second "bed" was a futon with stains all over it. Luckily my daughter last minute did not come with us so we did not use, so unsure of the comfort of the futon, but would have felt bad having her sleep in it.
This will now have been our 5th stay here and once again no complaints. This was our annual ski trip to Killington for 4 day's of skiing. Check in/out was a breeze and the staff were helpful & polite. As stated in previous reviews having breakfast onsite is a huge convenience and the expanded menu was very much appreciated. The wait staff was quick & attentive as well. Being 10 mins from the mountain is another big plus. The room was clean & comfortable and the addition of a refrigerator was a nice added touch. MSI is also close to many nearby restaurants so you never have to drive far after 6 hrs of skiing for a good meal. We will be back in 2021 and look forward to it.
Mountain Sports Inn is my go-to hotel for skiing Killington. Right on the access road about five minutes from the mountain, clean, good wifi so i can stay in touch with work, not expensive -- and breakfast is included. Also there's a great hot-tub on site which was wonderful to jump into after skiing. The staff are all friendly and Bob is a skier's skier -- a former racing coach at the Killington Alpine training center. Just stayed four nights and i spent more money on lift tickets than i did on lodging! I'll be back.
Basic hotel, but clean and a good breakfast included. Plenty of drawers and hanging space to put damp ski wear. About 5 mins drive from the main gondola station (but you'd need to drive from all the hotels, so don't need to be any nearer). Free parking outside the hotel. Hot tub was great after a days skiing. Terrible sound-proofing - could hear everything in the corridor outside the room, and in the room next door. Luckily we didn't have very noisy neighbours. Had quite a lot of road noise. If I stayed again I would ask for a room on the far side of the building to the road. Great pizzas at Domenics, and a great meal (but quite pricey) at Liquid Art. If you book the hotel, ski pass & kit rental package, apparently you should book it directly with the hotel to avoid paying commission.…
We were super excited to find this place 5 mins from Killington and for an amazing price! I have included a list of pros and cons from our stay: Pros: * Super close to skiing ⛷ * Super friendly staff * Free to-order breakfast 🍳🥞 * Clean room ✨ Cons: * Late check in * The walls are paper thin. You can hear ~everything~ in the rooms surrounding you and in the hallway. Heard my neighbors children running through the halls slamming doors, laughing and crying. Heard what they were watching on TV. Heard every part of everyone’s conversations. Overall had a good stay. If you bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones you should be set!
