Stayed here two nights when my son ran the Spartan Beast. Reasonably priced. Close to Killington ski resort. Room was clean. Had mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom was clean.Towels were clean. Shower had good water pressure. Owner was friendly. I'd definitely stay again next race!

If you are looking for luxury or amenities, this would not be the place to stay. However, if you are a serious skier who will be on the slopes all day and just need a place to sleep - the Val Roc is a perfect place. Every year a group of us spend a week at Killington, and for the...

Sit down for this one. I've stayed here twice. The first time, my buddy complained there was no hot water, but I didn't shower (ew) due to having to rush back to NY. If this review was based on that stay, it'd be different. But, this review is based on the incredible generosity by the guy that runs this place....

This place should be named the Bates Motel. The Bates Motel, is a pit! It smells, it's run down, dirty, and the toilet leaked just to name a few. Nothing has been upgraded for 30 years. We gingerly removed the 30 year old filthy bedspreads and threw them in the corner. The blankets underneath were not clean either. There are...

Despite the friendly and accommodating owner we will not be back to stay here. We were given extra blankets & towels when requested. The owner delivering the blankets to our room. But, the room was in dire need of updating/repair and we did not sleep well. The shower/tub was terrible. The water ran from the faucet while the shower head...

First time in Killington & this place was perfect. The owner was extremely accommodating, allowing us to arrive as late as we needed seeing as my friend & I drove up from Boston after work on a Friday night. Room was clean & spacious. Equipped with a microwave and little fridge, which was convenient for packing lunch for the mountain....

Stay here every time I come to Killington. Hands down the best value in Killington .Here is why-----clean, comfortable. NOT EXPENSIVE. Less than a mile from the SKYESHIP EXPRESS GONDOLA easy to park unlike K1 almost no lift line on the best mountain in the East Coast I skied 75 days last year and stayed at the Val Roc all...

Before you book, be aware that the cancelation policy at this hotel is not like most hotels. Ten days before our trip, I became quite ill and my husband called and asked if we could cancel our two-room, three-night stay. The clerk/owner said, "We require two weeks notice to cancel." Yeah, two WEEKS. Fortunately, I recovered in time to go...

Stayed here recently as part of a ski/stay package through Killington for a few nights. I have to say that recent reviews which I read before booking, were a bit too kind. While the innkeeper is a nice person who tries to accommodate -- when he is in the office, there is a serious lack of service and cleanliness going...

Had a great stay here. Needed to attend a 5 day 6 night Ski Instructor event at Killington this past week when they received about 3 feet of new snow in as many days. The room was clean, quiet and private , unlike other choices that were in my price range. The hot tub helped with sore legs. The guy...
