We stay here when ever we are through hiking on the long trail. This place is very hiker friendly. Everyone is accommodating, the breakfast is amazing. I highly recommend this place, it's quiet and a lot of the guests in the summer are hiking so there's lots of stories to share.

This was my first time in Vermont and I went to the right place. The location is perfect, situated on the Long trail and Appalachian trail it is an ideal spot. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast was more than you would expect and very good. The pub McGrath's was a hoot, live bands and great food. Everyone is very... More

First of all, if you enjoy a nice hike with a spectacular view, you simply walk out the front door of the Inn and the trail head to Deer’s Leap is located at the corner of their parking lot! At just under 2 miles round trip, the view from the top is simply breathtaking! Breakfast comes with your room and... More

The lady that owns the place is very nice until you have a complaint then she hangs up in your face. The rooms are very small, the gas fireplace works when it wants to, the shower takes sometimes 10 min to warm up, the bed is very uncomfortable. It would be a good spot for a AT hiker to stop... When was the last time your hotel had a homemade breakfast AND a gourmet dinner included in the price??? The rooms were basic but the atmosphere in the inn is amazing. The traditional cedar hot tub and the attached McGrath's Irish Pub are just a few amenities that come with the rooms but the highlight for trip was the restaurant.... More

This place is the best - I can't say enough good things about it. Met by host Okie at the front desk upon arrival, it set the tone for the entire weekend. He puts you at ease immediately and gets you sorted; he even has a history lesson or five about the area and the inn ready to go at... More

A friend and I stayed here recently as a stopover for a weekend ski trip at Killington. The property has a very rustic feel. The bar is very cozy with live entertainment on the weekends. The menu is typical bar food. Not bad but nothing special. The bar and downstairs does have a ski lodge feel to it. That is... More

This is our thirteenth year here. We originally came for our honeymoon and keep coming back. It is clean, friendly, great entertainment, reasonably priced, convenient, fresh/homemade food, nice beer selection. .. need I say more. The accommodations are modest but honestly cleaned. Family owned; not a chain. I highly recommend the inn to anyone especially hikers and/or outdoors people.

Inn at Long Trail is great. It is so authentic and everyone (staff and guests) is very helpful and nice. The perfect place to stay if you want to go on a short or long hike as the trail head is in the parking lot. The food was great. The staff amazing and super friendly. The room was simple, clean... Love, love, loved this place when I visited back in 1999 on my Appalachian Trail thru-hike. The owners and staff were wonderful, the music was great, the Guinness was like nectar from the gods. A one-night stay quickly turned into three. Still have my ILT t-shirt as well.
