We came up for a group function and had an amazing time. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is so friendly. We were really welcomed. Yes the rooms do need some updating but I am sure the new owners will work on that. Make sure you check out Jason the bartender he is pretty awesome! We will be back... More

Attended a family wedding here and this was the perfect spot for all of us to stay. It was so much fun to be able to gather for breakfast (great food!) and around the pool at all hours of the day. The staff is wonderful, the grounds are lovely, and although the rooms are a bit dated the common rooms... More

This unique/rustic mountain inn has been our meeting place to reunite with old friends every summer for the past 14 years, and we look forward to returning next year. Friendly staff, good food (blueberry pancakes/real maple syrup)and drink(Great Gazebo Bar). All the amenities one would need, though remember....it's rustic. We enjoy the relaxed atmosphere surrounded by Vermont forest and access... More

I really wanted to like this hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The physical setting is beautiful and there are nice common spaces. Breakfast is good. But the rooms really leave a lot to be desired. The room is small, with no place to sit and read. The bed is OK, but the pillows are like rocks so... More

The Lodge is rustic but updated with comfortable large rooms and flat screen TV. It was raining during our visit so we could not take advantage of the outdoors and pool. However they did offer a fun cooking demo with maple syrup and music after dinner. The cocktail room is nice, food delicious. My only complaint is the several in... More

After reading the reviews, we thought we would be staying in a nice place. The grounds are indeed beautiful and breakfast was very nice but the bathroom was disgusting. I have never done a negative review before but felt that I needed to warn others. The bathroom sink was all rusted around the drain. The caulking was missing around the... More

Great staff, great food, lovely gardens and pool, clean and quiet. Dated but don't let that stop you, it's a gem of a place. Friendly, relaxing, at home feeling from the time we arrived to the time we left.

We stayed here in 1980 and stopped to see if you could get a room on our way to Quebec City Lucky us, After 36 years they new owners have expanded the Lodge without ruining any of the old charm The new owners were around and are just want you want as inn keepers Food was as good if not... More

My niece was married at the lodge this past weekend, 7-16-16, and everything from the check-in to the check-out was excellent. Every single worker was polite, friendly, and very attentive - that is including the owner of the lodge. When I checked in, he was on his knees downstairs building a photo booth where the old phone booth had been.... More

My husband and I just stayed there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were a part of Appalachian Trail Adventures and the Summit Lodge played a large role in our great time! Everyone was attentive and wonderful!
