Great staff, great food, lovely gardens and pool, clean and quiet. Dated but don't let that stop you, it's a gem of a place. Friendly, relaxing, at home feeling from the time we arrived to the time we left.

We stayed here in 1980 and stopped to see if you could get a room on our way to Quebec City Lucky us, After 36 years they new owners have expanded the Lodge without ruining any of the old charm The new owners were around and are just want you want as inn keepers Food was as good if not... More

My niece was married at the lodge this past weekend, 7-16-16, and everything from the check-in to the check-out was excellent. Every single worker was polite, friendly, and very attentive - that is including the owner of the lodge. When I checked in, he was on his knees downstairs building a photo booth where the old phone booth had been.... More

My husband and I just stayed there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were a part of Appalachian Trail Adventures and the Summit Lodge played a large role in our great time! Everyone was attentive and wonderful!

Room was clean as was entire resort.Owner Emmet was very hands-on and personable. Great staff, Jason, Bill Andrew, Ned and Sandy to name a few. Pool ,sauna, breakfast and all amenities were top-notch. A real "gem" in the Killington area...we can't wait to return and tell our friends. Rich Petersen & Helena Lagerbeck, Dedham Ma.

We are staying at Summit as a rest stop on our VT to ME AT hiking trip. Our rooms are great with comfy new mattresses. The service is spectacular. We requested laundry service and were allowed to use their laundry facilities. I'm not sure if this is normal practice but there were not a lot of guests at this time.... More

Things are changing at The Summit. My boyfriend and I went for the "Hello Goodbye" party. It was to welcome the new owners and say goodbye to Bill Bauer, the old owner. The party was excellent. There were many changes and more to come. For many of us regulars we will be missing the "Saints" and Astro, as well as... More

My fiancé and I come to the Summit every now and then for a weekend getaway. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Killington. As you drive up the road it's such a beautiful spot and it is true to its name. Summer or winter it's the perfect home like spot. Even with the new owners, they made us feel at... More

I have stayed at The Summit many times over the past 40 years, in the winter when I skied Killington, and in the summer for special events such as weddings and reunions. The Summit has cosy, rustic, rooms that reflect the Vermont surroundings perfectly. The best part, though, are the public areas, with lots of space to relax, and real... More
