Great location - ski/in-ski/out at Killington. Unit was very warn for a gold crown resort. Kitchenette furniture was old. Sofa bed looked old and musty. Very dark paint, not enough lighting. It just needs some repairs an updating of furniture. With all that said, I would return again for the skiing convenience. Preston's restaurant was a disaster - but it was xmas break. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and never got served or even made eye contract - even with several bartenders working. We walked out and went to the bar at the resort next door and had a great time.

We spent 4 nights during a week in Feb 2021 when sking in Killington. We chose a studio with kitchenette so we ddidn't have to eat outside due to covid-19 pandemic.

Because of the wall bed, there is ample room when the bed is up. I love the large table with multiple chairs. Kitchen is well equiped. View is great - window faces mountain.

Bathroom has two basins so you can use it when somebody is using the shower - a small surprise. There are lots places you can hang you clothes/stuff on.

There is a complementary ski check next to the door leading to the slope that is really really convenient for skiers. You can leave your regular shoes in the cubes there after changing into ski boots. The staffs were very fridndly.

Overall, we had very good experience with staying in the hotel and would definitly go back in the future.

EXCELLENT!! I can not say enough good things about the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. I was staying with the Bubolo family, who are owner's at the Killington Grand when a fire occurred early Saturday morning. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, and concerned with the safety and well being of all visitors. During the evacuation, the staff helped usher everyone out of the hotel quickly and shuttle all of the visitors to Snowshed Lodge where coffee, drinks, bagels, eggs, and snacks were provided until the fire was put out. To make up for the fire displacement, which was clearly out of their control, they quickly sent out apology letters, refunding all guests with a free night stay due to the inconvenience of the fire as well as a free lift ticket. While this is something that was not necessary, it was much appreciated. Within 12 hours of the fire being put out, there were already workers at the property fixing all of the damage.

I am extremely impressed by the way the whole situation was handled by the team at the Killington Grand and I will most definitely be going back to stay despite the unfortunate fire. Staying at a resort with a top-notch staff makes all the difference!

Best,
Rob C

We stayed with friends at the Grand for a weekend. The room accommodations were perfect, plenty of space and amenities to prepare our own meals and socialize. The pool, hot tubs, and spa area was great fun and enjoyed by all in our party immensely. As previous reviews mentioned, the walls are very thin and it sounded like the people above us were stomping around at all times, which made resting/sleep difficult.

Special shout-out to Andy who maintained the pool/spa areas and kept everyone safe, and was extremely helpful. The common areas were also kept clean and we saw Bobby diligently working during the busy weekend days.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay but wish the rooms were better soundproofed.

This is primarily a winter resort and off season there is no place to eat in the resort except small snack shop. It is in a beautiful location however the location of your unit will determine whether you have a nice view. The units facing the back are very disappointing with buildings and air conditioning units in direct view. Other than that the unit was clean and comfortable.

I travel a lot for Work so I know a good to bad hotel. My usual stays are Hilton, Marriot or when in Canada I prefer Fairmont. Sometime hotels are dumps and other times they can be dump that is trying to make things right. I would say this hotel is a solid 4. Room was clean and new beds. Inside is under renovation which is causing the restaurant and bar to be closed. But they look nice as it's appear to be about finished. The indoor pool is also under renovation. They told me it's behind schedule as they are waiting for parts. Which i believe as we have global pandemic affecting supply chain of everything. So there is not food. Some coffee for breakfast and a granola bar. location can't be beat. We had a view of the ski mountain. But what made me not give them a 5 is the water. They have a water restriction. There are signs everywhere that say do not drink the water. They are giving away free waterbottles. The town I live in came up high on bad water levels. The town immediately fixed the problem and I installed a water filtration system in my house as a double precaution. I hope Hilton knows this is not acceptable. You should not have guest if you water is not safe to drink. Don't assume some kids taking a shower are not going to drink or get some of that water in their mouth. It's more important to have good water than fresh paint on your walls.

Clearly the folks providing good reviews about Killington Grand Resort haven't been to Colorado, Tahoe, Utah, Jackson etc. This is the worst place I've been to for the money they charge. Nothing Grand about Killington Grand Resort. World War time carpets in the hallway. I am wanting to buy water bottles for $3-4 a bottle but their vending machines don't work like everything else here. Staff says we don't have any water. Heating/Cooling stopped working first night, the sent a stupid small fan after I made 2 calls and waiting 30 min. Ski enthusiasts or learners, Killington in general has been the worst, no snow, its concrete no ice, resorts are laid back, worst service. Do yourselves a favor and go to Colorado, CA, Utah and elsewhere, time we accept East Coast have no skiing & Killington is a joke.

Nice facility, clean & convenient w/regards to local grocery store, restaurant. Last call for alcohol @ Prestons Pub is lame @ 12:30am. Most guests are staying over night which reduces the risk of DWI. For the price, please consider adding a refrigerator & microwave to the standard rooms.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I left this hotel feeling completely and utterly disrespected by the staff. I tried to enter with my service animal (given that I cannot be without them) and not only did the staff call my animal a “creature” but asked why I specifically needed him with me since they have a no pet policy. Then they told me that they could “find somewhere to keep my animal” for the night if I still wanted to stay there. Obviously, I left. No vacation is worth that disrespect. The associates need a long lesson in hospitality.

My sister and I came to the Killington Grand in March of 2020 and back again in June of 2022 (we’re calling it our covid bookend trips). Both times we have been thoroughly pleased with our stay. This time we were lucky enough to get a stunning Mountain View room (even number rooms).
You really cannot beat the location of this hotel. It’s steps away from Snowshed base area. The ski storage is so simple and convenient. The pool/ hot tub is perfectly pleasant. Robes are provided in the room.

Tip- Food options are rather limited if you don’t want to spend the time or money at the fancy restaurant. Mini fridges are available at request for the standard hotel rooms.

A special thank you to Duane and Jake at the front desk for your great hospitality.
