The Sinclair Inn is beautiful, comfortable and so welcoming. The gracious owners Tom and Dan paid attention to all the details, asking about our food sensitivities and then surprising us at breakfast with their personalized delicious creations and remembering our names. Our room was very clean and practically designed, there were cold drinks and coffee/tea located down the hall and home made sweets in the dining room available throughout the day (amazing maple clusters). We enjoyed the outside spaces as much as the inside, comfortable deck sitting area and the beautiful garden with water lily pond and amazing variety of blooming perennials. We felt very relaxed and comfortable during our 2 night stay and would return to stay in this beautiful bed and breakfast any time that we are back in the area! Helen and Keishi…
The Sinclair Inn is just amazing! The innkeepers are very sweet and accommodating. The inn itself is absolutely lovely. How wonderful is this inn? The other guests were all repeat patrons and interactions between patrons and patrons and innkeepers felt like family or friends gathering together. All the special little touches, were simply lovely. The inn itself was a gem. But the breakfasts defy description! I would not be surprised if people stayed at the Sinclair Inn just for the breakfasts. That said, the area is quite pretty and the residents are friendly and warm.
Stayed here for two nights on a getaway to ski at Stowe. We chose it because the price seemed much more reasonable for what was offered than what we could find closer to Stowe. It paid off in spades!!! The house is lovely, our king room was beautiful with a large bathroom, walk in shower, and nice hot water. Tom and Dan offer great hospitality which was topped off with a delicious and filling breakfast every morning. (They also offered us vegetarian!). It's a pretty drive to Stowe from here and we had a wonderful stop in Waterbury for shopping and dinner apres ski. Highly, highly recommend staying here.
Wonderful room with a comfortable bed and welcoming touches like chocolates and plentiful complementary drinks down the hall. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and served at the time that worked best for me. The innkeepers are warm and welcoming without hovering. I plan to book again when next in the area.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this little B&B. It's an older home with some of the original molding and stained glass present. It's furnished comfortably but not to period. The commion areas are comfortable places to sit and read. Each room is decorated differently and is fairly spacious. Each room has a bath that's been updated and uses space very well to give clients the most use. Breakfasts are creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. Tom is funny, Dan is pleasant and helpful. This has become the gold standard by which I will guage B&Bs in the future.
This actually IS the best B&B we’ve ever stayed in! First off, let me just say how spotlessly clean and beautiful this house is! The rooms are elegantly decorated including a very comfy king bed. A small room down the hall had a coffee machine and a fridge to stash your leftovers and stocked with water and other beverages for your use. The grounds are also lovely with a pond and a nice patio. Speaking of elegant, the breakfasts were some of the best I’ve had! A baked apple filled with cooked oats, topped with yogurt and apple cider reduction; egg bake with asparagus and goat cheese; and fried chicken and waffles - just a few examples of how unique the fare was. Not to mention the ever appearing snacks - cookies, brownies, apple tart. And it was ALL delicious. The innkeepers, Tom and Dan, are delightful and engaging. We really enjoyed visiting with them. They go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience at their inn. They are there to give directions, suggest places to eat, routes to take and things to see and do. We loved chatting with them and learning about the house. Another thing worth mentioning is the central location of the inn. You can go east to Burlington in 1/2 hr or west to Waterbury and Stowe in 40 mins. This place is like a home away from home - only better! We hope to come back some day and stay longer!…
Two friends and I spent a long weekend here. I had tried to get accommodations in Burlington, but there was no B&B space. That was lucky because we ended up staying in a very special place. Tom and Dan were fantastic hosts, and the decor warm and welcoming. The gardens-even a lilly pond-super….hydrangeas outstanding. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe their breakfasts…have included some pictures instead. They thought of everything for guests’ comfort…even a room with Keurig and refrigerator stocked with free drinks. We found local chocolates in our room and extra toiletries in the bathroom. It isn’t possible to come up with anything negative to write. I have stayed at many B&Bs over the years…this one is at the very top of the favorites list!!! Thank you both and hope to see you again!!…
We have had the privilege of staying at this inn three times and each time has been an unforgettable experience. our family members have also stayed at the same time we were there as well. The hospitality is exceptional. Dan and Tom take the time to get to know your preferences and they turn themselves over backward to accommodate each thing. The breakfasts are so delicious. My foodie sister-in-law takes pictures of everything before she eats it. We are able to sit together in the very comfortable living room in the evening and enjoy each other's company. Be sure to tour the beautiful gardens before you leave.
We spent two days here. I wish it was a week. Could not recommend this place enough. Welcoming. Spotlessly clean. Chef’s breakfast. Complimentary soda, juices and waters. Engaging, interesting hosts. Comfortable, soft bed and linens. We felt physically and spiritually nourished by this experience. Thank you Dan and Tom. We will never forget you.
Sinclair Inn was everything you’d expect in a Bed and Breakfast. The room was ample size with a comfortable bed (bathroom was a little small), and the breakfast was sumptuous. Combine these with welcoming Innkeepers who went out of their way to make us feel likes guests in their home. Would definitely stay here again.
