We stayed at a studio lodge for 3 nights as part of a family reunion. The facility is a bit tired and seemed overpriced. I particularly resented a $15 per day internet fee on top of the rental. Small things missing: no shampoo, no salt and pepper in kitchen, etc.

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2016 via mobile

Having truly enjoyed ourselves at Smuggs over 4 nights in late Dec, we decided to go back for a week-long trip at the beginning of their summer season. The winter ski camps for kids were fantastic; we wondered if the summer offerings could match. They didn't; they surpassed them!! Our children are 9, 5, and 3.5. #1 attended three days... More

The Views were amazing. From our outside deck we could see all the ski slopes. The resort was well maintained. There was some construction going on, but I have to say the construction guys were very respectful of our vacation time. They are just making the place better for everyone. We did some hiking, and a water slide, a couple... More

It's a nice place and I'm glad I get to go. But it's a teensy bit outdated. Also far from a lot of civilization. It's not to say there nothing to do. Personally I love the hypnotist show. And it has a lot of great programs for kids. A lot of which I took part in as a child myself.... More

Consistently rated the # 1 family resort for good reason. Beautiful accommodations on a gorgeous mountain. Lots to do outdoors for kids and adults. Great camp system to give adults time alone.Multiple pool areas to play in

Vt is such a beautiful state; beautiful large, green trees, beautiful ride to resort. The temps in VT were only 75-80 mid aug - the pools were heated to 82 degrees. Quite a bit of walking at resort from condo to village center which has a few stores, pizza place, restaurant, ben and jerry's . You can call and wait... More

Our 8th visit (4th summer). We love Smuggs, and it just gets better. The kids enjoy camp, bike the dirt bike course, swim in all the pools. We play tennis. We all swim and relax each day together. Evening activities are very fun, especially Bingo. They are building a new fun zone, can't wait to see it next Summer! The... More

Hello from Smuggs! Thank you for sharing your family's summer experience in a review. We love your enthusiasm for the new FunZone - we're excited about it too. Construction on this indoor playground will begin soon. Once completed, the two story structure will offer plenty for families, including a climbing wall, ninja warrior-type course, laser tag, an arcade and prize... More

This is a large, diverse resort in the mountains of northern Vermont - beautiful in all seasons. The accommodations are very comfortable, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is commendable. Numerous swimming pools for various ages are busy on warm summer days, and indoor pools service the winter crowd. Everyone has a place at Smugglers Notch.
