I was really impressed at how well the resort has adapted to Covid restrictions. The trip was more relaxing than anything else, but it was fun too. Skiing was limited because the snowfall was so minimal so far this winter, but the conditions on the mountain were good on the open trails. Our condo (Willows 28) was great. It overlooks the Lower Morse Liftline trail and takes "ski on, ski off" to a new level. The door to the building is a few steps to the trail. When skiing back, I could ski right to the door. The fireworks were just outside our window and great to watch from the deck.

We have vacationed at Smuggs many times. Winter is wonderful and if you go ask the resort agent to stay in Willows - one of the very best ski on/off locations at the resort. Simply step out the backdoor onto the slope!

We absolutely love smuggs for a great family get away. This place is ideal for families even ones with little ones. Since my son was 2 we have been coming and he ever stayed at their daycare center. Which was fantastic might I add. The skiing and boarding is out of this world and the trails are so much longer than they are in PA where we are from. We travel 6 hrs to get there every year, so worth the travel. This place just lets you unplug from life and be surrounded by loved ones. The staff are the kindest people you will ever meet!
