Found this little gem of a place by accident and gave it a shot.Never tried snow shoeing before, staff helpful with selecting proper shoes and poles, gave us trail map and helped us with all of our questions and had a great time Family owned, friendly staff, beautiful views The trails are well marked and easy to follow to a cabin on the the top of mountain..Oh what views from their into the valley below.. They also have cross country and skate skiing on well groomed mark trails..we observed several people on these trails... Being Floridians and flat lander's with no experience in this area we couldn't have selected a better place to try snowshoeing....
My nephew was married here August 2019. The service overlooked their pond. A very nice, quiet place for a wedding. The reception was in the "barn" with family having arranged outside caterers. Nice outdoor seating for cocktails. Place for a bondfire and sporty activities. The small inn has about 6-10 rooms. We didn't stay there but did use my brother's room to change. It was nicely done. There's common rooms too.
My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful place for our wedding. Everything was perfect! Molly was very helpful with all of our questions. I recommend this venue to anyone who wants a gorgeous Vermont wedding!
We highly recommend Sleepy Hollow as a wedding venue. You and your family/bridal party get the venue from Friday-Sunday, and that was very important to us. The space itself is gorgeous, not to mention the landscaping. We were well taken care of for breakfast, and it felt like our space for the whole weekend.
The wedding venue is beautiful in a rustic setting; clean and new. It was a cold wet June wedding but they were able to make it work so that we were dry. The Inn rooms are set up oddly in the sense that the bed configuration are not that great. The decor is vintage ski house. The grounds are lush and well trimed. The beds we slept in were just glorified cots and not very comfortable, the couches in the house we basic and not comfortable either. The breakfast was nice and plentiful (real maple sryup)
