My husband and I were looking for a perfect getaway with out 8 month old! This was our first time traveling together as a family... During COVID non the less... We were nervous but Suzy and Todd set up is perfect for being able to socially distance and enjoy the nature. The facility is breath taking! They had a pack and play set up for our little man for when we arrived the first night. The Scones and fresh eggs made a perfect start to our first day. We did the morning "Chores" every day as it was a blast and the animals were so engaging for our little man. Also Suzy did such a good job decorating for fall... I had a photo shoot for my little guy at every corner - no prep work needed :). Suzy and Todd also went above and beyond they offered to make one of my year goals to come true. I mentioned to Suzy that I have been trying to go on a goat hike by a place near me but they kept selling out. She without hesitation made this happen for me!!! WE WENT ON GOAT HIKE-- all I can say is it was better then I imaged. Needless to say we are booked to come back next year and hope to make this a yearly tradition!

We stayed here with our family of seven (two adults, five children) for a long weekend and had the best time ever! Todd and Suzy were very accommodating and knowledgeable. The kids truly enjoyed doing the chores with them! Setting was serene, and away from everything. Truly peaceful! We definitely recommend visiting! Our cabin was clean and provided everything that we needed! We ventured out during the day on hikes, fishing, shopping, etc. The animals were well taken care of and super friendly! We will most certainly come back soon!

Great views and comfortable cabins, and the nicest farmers in Vermont! Todd and Suzy were great hosts who made sure we were comfortable. My children really enjoyed working with the farm animals - definitely do the morning chores!

We scheduled a weekend at Fat Sheep Farm back in the winter and before COVID "hit," and I am so glad we did. We visited with our ~3 and 7 year-old daughters and had a fun and relaxing visit. The cabins are beautiful, well-appointed, and clean - we had one with a loft which provided nice extra sleeping space, and there were fresh scones and a basket of fresh eggs waiting for us. Our kids loved doing chores each day with Suzy, helping with the goats, sheep, and chickens. There's a well-maintained and picturesque walking path through the woods and fields, and Suzy provided great recommendations for other things to do locally. COVID-wise, we felt safe the entire time, everyone wore masks when doing animal chores, and otherwise it's the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors, maintain "social distance," and get a change of scenery!

We had an amazing couple days staying at Fat Sheep Farm. It was the first time we have stayed away from home since we were shut down for Covid, and what a fantastic time we had. From the moment that we pulled up to our cabin and saw the sheep grazing right in front of our porch, we were so happy to be there! Todd and Suzy have built an amazing property, and they are incredibly gracious hosts. The cabins are immaculate and gorgeous, they clearly appreciate quality in all aspects of their business. We woke up every morning to help with the farm chores, feeding the lambs, helping take them out to pasture, feeding the chickens and collecting eggs. We made breakfast of fresh eggs and pancakes every morning while looking out over the beautiful landscape. After days of enjoying local hiking, we were excited to come back every day to visit the sheep again in the barn. After making dinner, we enjoyed sunset campfires while watching the chickens settle in for the night. This was a really perfect vacation for our family (with kids). It was great to have a fully stocked kitchen, and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner each night using the farm fresh products that we collected durning our daily adventures around the area.
