My Fiance and I stayed at the Essex over Valentine's Day weekend to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. Unfortunately we were put into room #325. My Fiance never slept a wink on Friday night due to a loud hum coming from some kind of motor or fan next to the room. The light from the hallway was also streaming into...

Greetings Paul, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your recent stay. I wanted to let you know that we take our guests’ comments very seriously, and we are addressing this issue as we speak. Regarding Room 325, the issue stems from our new, state-of-the-art boiler, which was just installed about a month ago. Upon installation we noticed...

We Stayed for a weekend in October and During summer... Gardens are very beautiful, rooms are very comfy, clean and doesn't look old or cheap. Lets just say that I am easily discussed with bathrooms and never had to complain. Our room had an electric fire place and view of the gardens. There's a neat Golf court near the hotel,...

The rooms are clean and confortable. The bathroom a little bit small. The food is good, specially the candies available near the front door of the main buildind. Those are awesome! The location is a little far from the city center but not a big deal if you have a car.

Our trip was planned after finding a great rate with Groupon. $249 for 2 nights at a comfortable Vermont Inn. Included in out stay was a $25 credit to the Spa and another $25 credit to a Cooking class. Also, a $25 certificate towards dinner at Amuse, the high end restaurant at the resort. The rooms were spacious and clean....

We stayed here with a TravelZoo voucher, as it sounds like many others have, over Valentines/Presidents weekend (big plus as many special deals like this seem to have blackout dates around holidays). Overall, a very positive experience, with a few negatives. Positives: -The room was quite nice, perfect size, comfortable, etc. No complaints here at all. -We LOVED the Saturday...

We stayed here as a reult of a Groupon deal that we purchased & I'm glad that we did not pay the traditional room rates... The rooms were cute - felt like a B&B rather than a hotel, but the colors of the rooms were outrageous. Ours was red/orange & some of the others that we saw were aqua, purple,...

I stayed at the resort this past weekend with my boyfriend after I bought a Travelzoo voucher. I had never been to Burlington so I thought why not take a road trip! And one of my boyfriend's friends lives up that way so we met for a drink while there. I booked a soak and couples massage for us at...

My family booked five rooms for a fiftieth birthday celebration. We ate in Amuse the first night, very good, small portions. The waiter was great, he explained the menus to us better. You can also order things with sauces on the side or not at all. But the next night, (3 couples), We went to The Tavern, we arrived at...

Best bed I've ever slept in. Resort was nice and clean. Colors are a but dated 80ish with the blues and pinks, but nevertheless it was nice. I was expecting "wow" food being a culinary resort, but it was just good food ...nothing to brag about. I only ate at the Tavern there an did not eat at he Amuse....
