Lovely resort. Even on a chillier spring weekend, the grounds were lovely. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and clean, and it was a very comfortable stay. The spa was divine, so relaxing and peaceful and beautiful. We stayed here and spent most of our time in Burlington, which...

Headed to the Essex in late April, and was pleasantly surprised at the old charm of this resort, with modern amenities. Loved the Jacuzzi bath in our bathroom, and the fireplace. Room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. My only disappointment, was there was no mini refrigerator, therefore we had to go purchase a cooler with ice ( which wasn't...

I stayed while visiting Burlington and was very much looking forward to my visit. The hotel and spa staff are veer pleasant but the rooms are ver average. I had a room in the mansion building. The rom was a good size but the bathroom was a bit small. They need better coverings on the windows as light filtered through...

We have stayed several times, the cooking classes are alot of fun, definately THE reason to go. We stated on the building on the left side of the property. The weekend we were there there was a Marine Corp conference of sorts, lots of older gentleman and their wives. They unfortunately smoked though, there was a large group right outside...

Its hard to keep up with this resort - seems it has seen a lot of traffic. The temperature was hard to regulate in the room - making it warm even with shades and temp set at 65... Not a lot of hot water in the am, lukewarm at best. And the bathroom didn't have a lot of room to...

The hotel is nice though the foyer is sparsely decorated. The rooms are a nice size. I had dinner and breakfast there. the dinner was poor. It was meant to be a hot and sour sauce, instead it tasted like food fried in lemon juice and nothing else. The breakfast was very nice.

Vsha, Trip Advisor is a great forum for travelers to share their experiences with others both positive and negative. Stayed for 3 nights. Very clean and very professional. Customer service is top notch! Close to the outlets. Restaurant is a bit pricy. I tried the Tavern and food was OK. Nothing to brag about. There are a lot of great places to eat in the area, you just need to look around and you will find it.
