Motel is off road and surrounded by beautiful Vermont scenery. Warm welcome from Rachel at front desk, who also was helpful with hike and other local information. Room was clean and comfortable. Near wonderful walking. Quite a few well-behaved dogs were guests when we were there. Breakfast included is dry cereal, coffee, etc. so adequate but nothing special except the... More

My wife, our son, our chocolate Lab "Brooklyn" and I just spent a much needed and absolutely relaxing weekend at the Aerie Inn. This is our second time staying there. The owners are the most down to earth, wonderful owners of any hotel you will ever stay in. Our dog Brooklyn became best buds with the owner's dog "Bella". Those... More

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Aerie hotel while in town to attend the Vermont Horse Show and I can't say enough nice things. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The Inn is set back from the road so nice and quiet with with a great view of the mountains. We didn't use it because... More

This motel is nice, clean, and just a quarter mile off the main road, which makes it convenient and at the same time very peaceful and quiet. It's run by a young couple who are extremely friendly and nice. I recommend it highly and would stay there again.

The Aerie Inn, located in lovely East Dorset, is a motel-like structure set in a beautiful combination of meadow and woodlands. It was sold about eight months ago and a young couple are the new caretakers and hosts (along with two small dogs!) They have their work cut out for them as newcomers to the area and to Lodge-Keeping, but... More

Picture this: 8 soaking wet bikers (really just friendly motorcyclists) pull into your motel. What would you do; turn on the No Vacancy sign, lock the doors, call the local constabulary? Carol, the cheerful proprietor, greeted us warmly and ultimately volunteered to dry our wet clothes. We travel all over the east coast on bikes, and do our best to... More

This is the third time we had the pleasure of staying at the Aerie Inn -- and each time we have been blown away by the breathtaking views, pristine and comfortable rooms, and local knowledge and warmth of the inn's owner. We have tried many other places in the Manchester/Bennington/Northshire area, but this has become - by far - our... More

I just stayed here this past weekend to attend a conference at the Wilson House and was very pleased and satisfied. My friend and I were greeted promptly by Carol, the owner, with warmth and friendliness. Carol had coffee ready for both of us in the early a.m. both mornings and an offer of continental breakfast as well. Each of... More

I stayed here this week during a conference, and it was perhaps the best hotel/motel experience I have ever had (and I have been to many in my life). Carol is very upbeat and helpful to all her guests (even though I misplaced a room key, she was all smiles). We had some nice chats in the evening and her... More
