I had my wedding there on 10/1/22 and it was an unforgettable and absolutely incredible experience. Everyone at the Inn was so helpful and made myself and my guests feel so welcomed. Steve helped manage every aspect of the wedding and made the day an absolute joy. The property is stunning and makes an incredible setting for a wedding. Staying at the Inn with all of my friends and family was such a great experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too. We didn't want the weekend to be over! My husband and I cannot wait to go back and stay at the Inn. An incredible experience and forever memory, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding location.
Last August my wife and I had the very great pleasure of hosting our extended family and friends over a three-day period at the Mountain View Inn which included a wonderful rehearsal dinner prior to our son's wedding across the street the following day. As you can tell from all the great pictures, Mountain View farm is what you envision when you think of Vermont.... red barns and outbuildings in all their Norman Rockwell glory. It is a spectacular place that not only takes you back in time but soothes your soul. The accommodations and surroundings although perfect were only exceeded by the Manager, Carolyn, her husband, and their fantastic staff. The excellent service we received actually began the day we arrived at their doorstep the prior summer in a total panic looking for a place to hold our event for 80+ people in an area with few suitable venues. So it was a full year-long commitment with many questions asked and directly answered which we are so thankful for. The Rehearsal Dinner itself was held in one of the barns transformed with beautiful lighting and creative seating arrangements into a magical scene highlighted by a spectacular orange VT moon rising above us right as we were doing our outdoor toasts. I also strongly recommend getting up early one morning and walking down to the "wedding arch" in the field behind the barns just after this sun rises above the surrounding mountains, it's very special. Every one of our guest commented on what a great time they had... We cannot recommend the Inn and the great people who run it highly enough and know that you will love your stay and want to go back again soon as well.…
As I stare out of the breakfast room at the stables and farm house, my family doesn’t want to leave. My best friend’s wedding was this weekend here. The grounds and scenic views are stunning. The staff and caretakers are helpful and great to work with. As the officiant, we had a few last minute requests they were able to help us with. It was the perfect place to bring two families and many friends together to celebrate their love and next chapter of their lives. The breakfast at the Inn was fantastic with so many yummy options. We got the opportunity to head over to a giant corn maze and eat at a local cafe that had a piano and a few kids played for us. Hope to come back with my family and enjoy all the Bike trails and other activities in the are. Thank you!
My husband and I were just at the Inn at Mountain View Farm for our wedding. We had been here before and stayed for the whole week for our wedding. Everything was amazing. Anything we asked the manager for was done quickly and efficiently. Our wedding itself went without any flaws. Steve and Carolyn took care of everything we needed for our ceremony up on the hill overlooking the beautiful mountains. Breakfast in the creamery every morning was amazing. I Loved the fact that we were able to stay in the farm house with our dog. The rooms are adorable and very comfortable. I cannot say enough great things about this location whether it be for a wedding or just to stay I would 10/10 recommend The Inn at Mountain View Farm!
The inn and property are absolutely stunning and full of history. We had a wonderful time relaxing after cross country skiing and fat tire bike riding. The innkeepers, Carolyn and Steve were so very nice and accommodating. The chef Andrea made delicious breakfasts we enjoyed while taking in the bucolic views of the farm. We will be back.
This historic estate is impeccably kept with gorgeous views in every direction. The owner and inn keeper were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, cozy and well-appointed. Breakfast was delicious, only to be topped by the amazing view. It was such a wonderful, peaceful getaway. We will be back!
Beautiful area to visit right on the NEK bike trails. This place boast beautiful views with barns, horses, gardens. Quintessential Vermont! The rooms in the creamery are quaint and I would give this section of the inn a 5 star review but the bathrooms are tiny and the window in the room (Wheelock) is small. Other than that, the inn keepers and owner were so pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room is nice with beautiful views. We will be back!
This was the most delightful relaxing place to visit. Our hosts John and Marilyn were so helpful and gracious. Our accommodations were impeccable and our breakfast was so delicious. The views from this little piece of heaven were amazing We will be back!!
This historic estate of famous NY hotel owner and horse breeder has been lovingly transformed into a fantastic B&B. The owners are justifiably proud of the work they have done and their love for the property (and their guests) can be seen everywhere you look. The sprawling grounds are meticulously maintained and offer spectacular views of the surrounding hills. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is generous but just to be sure you end the night in a good mood, the inn offers ingredients for s'mores on a table beside the reception desk and a fire burning in the fire pit just outside the door. Irresistible. What more can you say?
A beautiful property to stroll around. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This is a wonderful introduction to northern Vermont for those new to the area. Expecially wonderful site for weddings and other events.
