Our room for two adults and two kids (9,12) in the Inn was great. Comfy room, very clean, modern bathroom, breakfast nook, snack shop (with wine and beer for sale), ice cream shop, mini golf, pool, campfire. Five minutes to good restaurants. Lovely courteous check-in, smooth as silk. Would go again. Grandkids said Grandpa's choice beat Grandma's $300 hotel in Salem.

The campground was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. The facilities were great. Having a food truck and entertainment on site were all added bonuses. I appreciated the security of the facilities as a solo traveler.

This campground is clean and organized. They have mini-golf and a playground for kids, a pool, a food truck, and ice cream. We were in the suites in the building, but the campsites looked very nice and well-maintained. In the suites, we loved the spacious bathroom with shelves to put our things. It was cozy and welcoming. The Vermont area is beautiful. Convenient to restaurants, interstate and shopping for essentials. Would stay there again!

Our first stay in this quiet jewel on the border between Vermont and New Hampshire. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were in the upper field and nature abounded from deer to hummingbird and the strawberry moon was in full bloom over the treetops. We loved the very clean pool, mini golf and the delicious ice cream. Family friendly. Minutes away was the Whetstone Brewery and restaurant where we enjoyed their delicious and tasty fare overlooking the Connecticut River. Wonderful time and place. We will certainly be back.

This is a very well laid out campground. The sites are large, clean restrooms, great hosts. Some of the water/electric sites are wooded and provide ample shade. We recommend you give this campground a try before looking any further. It’s awesome.

Grounds are very nice, clean, and spacious. Liked the country store at checkin that had a little of everything you might need, especially ice cream. The food truck had a lot to choose from on the menu, I wasn’t thrilled with my pulled pork sandwich, needed more sauce or something. The staff at checkin and grounds were very nice and helpful, especially the day we were leaving, our slide on our 44’ Fleetwood Discovery wouldn’t come in. Though we were 4 hours behind checkout, TJ was very helpful and patient with us. We would definitely return if in the area again.

Although we had a short stay it was very nice. We had one of the rooms in the Inn. Very clean and comfortable. We really were impressed with the complimentary snack bar and fire wood. Very nice touch.

This was our 2nd trip to Kampfires and we really enjoyed our stay. The whole place was clean and was kept up. I can't say enough about the staff. I had the great pleasure of working with both Amy and Trevor and each time I was met with a friendly smile. I had a problem with my schedule and the dates and they were so quick to find a resolution and help me out. There's not 1 thing that I would change about our stay. Thank you so much for the relaxed weekend

Last week we called and asked if we could add an extra day to our trip so we would not be driving in the hurricane we were expecting. Not only were we able to add the extra day but as we were driving there I text the campground and asked them if we could have early check in. I received a very resounding text back saying our site is open and to come in anytime! It’s this kind of service that brings us back time and time again! We were at another campground that charges $45. If you want to check in an hour early and $200. If you come in 2 hours before. If you don’t pay they ask you to the the property! The staff at Kampfires are always attentive and friendly. We also enjoy the food truck and activities they offer! Well done Kampfires!

We had just come off of a bad experience the previous night so I was beginning to question my research skills. This is a campground but they also have an old farm home that has been converted into an inn. There are 4 rooms within the inn. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. They have a picnic table and fire pit for each room at the inn. How convenient is that? The bed was great after a sleepless night at a $300 room. I could not recommend this place more. The staff was beyond professional and answered all questions and were so kind. We will definitely return to explore more of Vermont!!
