The Inn is fabulous!! The room we stayed in had a wonderful bed, bathroom and even TV. The best part was the owner and her daughter. Penny and her daughter Rachel made us feel at home from the time we entered. They were so friendly. High Tea was amazing I recommend this to everyone!! The breakfasts were over the top!!... More

Dan and Penny are wonderful hosts. The breakfasts were delicious, and coffee, tea, and cookies were available all day. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. Although this is an old building, inside everything was fresh, but with Victorian decoration. The bathroom are modern, and everything is well maintained.

We've been to Vermont a number of times but never stayed in Chester. This is a come back to place with great food, amazing breakfasts, delicious cookies, wonderful inn keepers and if you're around on the weekend be sure and sign up for the complimentary guest option of high tea. On days with hi tea we didn't have to eat... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while tracking down some family history nearby. The innkeepers, Penny and her husband, Dan, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We stayed in Prince Albert room, which was a real treat and very comfortable. One night Dan set up their large projection screen and we watched Cinderella while sipping tea and munching cookies. Breakfasts... More

This inn is like visiting your aunt's victorian home. Rooms are comfortable and clean, not showy. Every little detail is covered, like tea in the evening, huge VCR collection for in-room viewing, helpful advice from ownership on hiking, cross-country trails, etc. Good location for downhill skiing with five resorts nearby. Only downside is that Chester is not much of a... More

We stayed here for one night last week. The staff was great and they even went out of their way to light the fire pit for us. My only complaint was that there was no room to put anything in the room. I was aware that we were in a small room but every inch of space was covered with... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write a note, we dearly appreciate it! You did book the smallest room of our nine...perhaps next time one of the six larger rooms will be available for you. Glad you enjoyed the fire pit! God Bless More

Everything that Penny and Dan, our fabulous innkeepers, offered was quite extraordinary. Welcoming, humorous hosts, wonderful food, homey and comfortable accommodations, and patience with my never-ending questions immediately provide a respite and complete loss of cares. The Inn is totally family-like, with lovely gifts for purchase in various locations on the main floor. The room provided t.v., wonderful comfy bed... More

Inn Victoria is one of the most splendid B&Bs I've experienced. Not only is the Inn impeccably kept, beautifully appointed, but the innkeepers, Penny and Dan are warm, and very hospitable! Even though we were running late, well after check-in, it was not a problem. Their welcoming personalities made you feel like you have just come home! You have the... More

Penny and Dan made us feel at home immediately. They are both incredibly interesting and funny, and the most welcoming innkeepers ever! The Inn is decorated exquisitely, the ambiance is warm and wonderful, and we felt at home from the moment of arrival. They are generous with information and and with their home. After a long day walking the back roads of Weston & Chester, 11.2 miles total, we arrived at the Inn Victoria in the tiny village of Chester, VT. My wife & I were tired and our feet ached from the walk. A nice welcome from Dan & Penny, the Innkeepers & Jane was very special to two very tired travelers.... More
