We spent 2 nights at this B&B and were very pleased with the accommodations and the breakfast. Duke was a very gracious and friendly host. He spent time mapping out points of interest for us as we didn’t know the area. We will definitely stay here again when in VT.

Found this for a stop on the way to Montreal. We arrived towards sunset and Duker pointed us to Mt. Philo State Park, recommending the sunset views. We were very happy we followed his advice - the views were amazing! Room was cozy and comfortable. The central lawn and hammocks very inviting. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great. The artwork (done by the host) was interesting as well. Very pleasant stay and conversation. Well worth a stay.

Our area is so beautiful, it is the easiest thing to do to point guests to Mt. Philo, the lake, the trails, berry picking, wine and beer, etc. We hope you got the getaway you wanted, including the bright lights and fetes of Montreal. See you again.

We spent 2 lovely nights in the Chateau, a tiny cottage with en suite bath, in mid July during a heat wave. The room was comfortable with good ac and the breakfasts were sumptuous and delicious. Duker, our host is an interesting fellow and we appreciated his beautiful paintings in the room where we had breakfast, made by his lovely wife, Josephina. Extraordinarily well traveled he regaled us with many of his adventures as we had breakfast. We would definitely stay at the Inn again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our inn. Thank you also for all the positive comments. Every year we experience a heatwave like the one you did. We are glad the AC kept you comfortable! Our little stand alone cottage, grandiosely named the Chateau, is small but has all the amenities. Thanks for the breakfast thumb's up and your appreciation of the lively conversation---every person has a fascinating story. We hope to see you here again soon. The garden is wild with flowers!
