I have driven by many times and always wanted to experience this resort. Extremely glad I finally tried it. WOW, the main castle is quaint, the rooms are very clean and spacious. The bathroom needs updating, but that would spoil the era ambiance. Explore the manor to appreciate the decor. The restaurant is wonderful. Grab a bottle of wine and...

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at the resort. The first time we stayed in the motel accommodations, this time we stayed in the Castle rooms. It's always hard for me to want to give a glowing review. Heck, 2 things could happen. One, the place gets so busy that I have trouble getting a reservation,...

Yes this house/hotel is from 1913 era but you must love the time period to enjoy this place. The food in the restaurant was very good and we had a romantic evening by the fire eating leisurely. I would return and for me that says it all

The house was beautiful but our room was horrible. While our friends enjoyed a beautiful view of the woods we had a street view. Our room was dark and depressing. The jacuzzi did not work, the lighting was awful, not enough towels for two people, no shower, just a tub that was dangerous to get in and out of (I...

I stayed here in January of 2017 for my first ski trip to Okemo. I booked at the last minute and did not have a lot of options left. This place seemed like a nice "resort," and of a higher caliber than what was also available on short notice. It was pretty expensive ($300+/night) but it looked luxurious so figured...

I love this hotel. I've stayed 4 times over the last 8 years. Each room is unique, comfortable, and beautiful. I love taking a dip in the outdoor pool in the winter. Again I found this place on Groupon. Be careful when booking that you are booking for the Castle on the hill and not The Pointe Hotel. Owned by...

Please note that the reviews I've read seem to be split between four (!) separate things at the resort: (1) stays at the 'Castle' itself, (2) stays at the condos/the 'The Pointe at Castle Hill Resort', (3) meals at the 'Castle', and (4) the Castle Hill spa. This review is for a stay at the Castle, which we got through...

The place was nice, the people were nice, the place is clean we just got a very LOUD room. I should have gone or called the front desk to say something, but didn't (my mistake) Not sure if it was a fan or the heater in the next room, but it keep me up most of the night, which is...

Staff were excellent and very helpful. Wonderful ambiance in a beautiful historic building very well maintained and very suitably furnished for early 1900s. Food was excellent and the $25.00 3 course menu a bargain. We ate Ludlow pub food, similarly priced, on our 1st night but that was only OK compared to the castle service and quality of food. Rooms...

Stayed with a book group of 12 woman. Each room was large with two comfortable queen beds in each. The beds had firm mattresses with a soft layer and plenty of first rate linens. Each room had sound proof walls so that hall noise was at a minimum. The bathrooms were modern , with good water pressure, plush towels and...
