My son attends Castleton University and finding this gem so close to campus is real treat. The house is a historical beauty and the owners are so sweet and caring. The room was spotless and towels were kept fresh our whole stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the visits from the family pets made me feel right at...

The hosts, Nancy and Ralph, are delightful. The home is a beautiful New England colonial full of charm and located in a very scenic area. The fall leaf season was spectacular this year. We went hiking on the trails adjacent to their property and loved it. We were told they have cross country skiing and snowmobile trails near their property...

Nancy and Ralph always welcome us to their lovely Applewood Inn. After our third stay at the Applewood Manor we have a sense of calmness and peacefulness when we arrive. We know we have arrived at our Vermont home away from home. Ralph is an awesome chef who whips up a delicious breakfast. Nancy sets out an elegant array of...

This lovely B&B was everything we wished for. The home was so comfortable, the grounds and gardens were beautiful, the rooms were so well appointed and cozy, the breakfasts were very good and the hosts, Nancy & Ralph, were so gracious and friendly. We had lovely chats with them and the other guests from all corners of the world. We...

This place is amazing. The house is itself very charming, let alone the surroundings. It is very well maintained. Ralph & Nancy are great owners. They welcomed us very warmly and provided a comfortable stay. They also provided a very nice breakfast and a nice morning companionship. This is definitely worth every good review and I definitely recommend this place...

Ralph is a phenomenal chef and creates delicious breakfasts, while Nancy ensures all guests have their needs met. Such a great pair! Super friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and...

Such an amazing B&B. We were the only couple there so we got upgraded to the best room in the place. I think this was probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept on. The breakfast was great. The owners are amazing and they make you feel at home. I wish we could stay for more then one day.

We stayed at Applewood Manor for only one night last week and my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! What a lovely couple and a lovely home. I say "home" because it really has the feeling of an elegant home rather than an "inn" and Nancy was as accommodating as any hostess I have ever visited. We arrived...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night during a road trip through New England, and we absolutely loved everything about the place. Nancy is a fabulous host, who immediately upgraded us to a nicer room than the one we had booked - without us asking - because we happened to be the only guests that night. This is...

Panicked, we arrived at the Applewood Manor B & B late in the day with no reservation and feared that we would be sleeping in the car again, as we had in Nova Scotia. Yet, when we saw Nancy's smiling face and heard her warm voice inviting us in, we knew that our worries were over. The instant we stepped...
