Stayed here on Friday night. When I checked in I specifically asked for a room that was as removed as possible from any sources of loud noise since I had to be up very early the following morning. After being assured my request had been met I ended up on the 3rd floor. Turns out my room was directly above...

My husband and I loved this hotel! Having never been to Vermont, or any New England states, we wanted to stay in a place that didn't feel typical or like a chain hotel. The Hotel Vermont was perfect! It's location made it a great starting point for all activities, from walking to town or to the lake. We also loved...

This hotel has a bit of a split personality. I think it aims to be a luxury oasis but it just misses the mark, although there are many pluses. So I've split this review into parts. 1. what works: easy check in/out, nice lobby bar that had live jazz music, the rooms are incredibly spacious, coffee and fruit station open...

Great place, the HV is a very chic Vermont hotel. Very contemporary!! The Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Our room was spacious and had a partial view of Lake Champlain. Food was tasty and the lobby bar had the Heady Topper! We had a terrific stay and look forward to visiting again soon.

We had a great room on the 9th floor- loved the coffee/tea/soft drink complimentary bar at the elevator. Downstairs bar had Jazz at night, beds were great- good night's sleep. The staff is helpful, and easy to reach. Rent a bike downstairs and head for the waterfront a block away for a great ride on the bike path along the...

What can I say? Staff and service excellent, location couldn't be better, and the rooms and amenities are top-notch. Modern rooms but far from austere. The way that the hotel has curated the details for visitors is impressive, from the flannel bathrobes to the coffee mugs. Each floor has a coffee and water bar (regular and sparkling and ice cold),...

We went for a special event in town and this hotel was within easy walking distance...and as it turned out to just about all areas we wanted to see. It is not cheap, nicely appointed, comfortable. Emphasizes Vt products, and the bedtime chocolate was superb. You can buy an amazing array of products from your room...wooden trays, glasses, flannel robes...

This was our first visit to the Hotel Vermont, and we were pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered, its proximity to Church Street, Lake Champlain, and shopping. The hotel has used natural elements in its construction, some of which is recycled. Complimentary garage parking is adjacent to the hotel.

This is an upmarket hotel, that uplifts the spirit and whose philosophy is clear - invest in quality staff, accommodation and produce. Location - ideal for a 5-10 min stroll to the lakeside or the street market. Bedroom - spotless, bright, queen beds to die for, fresh ground coffee and fresh fruit at the end of corridor. Food - excellent...

My fiancée and I stayed here for two nights in mid-July - we had booked for three nights but left early due to our overall disappointment with Hotel Vermont. We had expected it to be a higher-end hotel than it actually is, particularly given its relatively high price. The hotel decor is a fairly drab "Ikea-style". We booked a room...
