We enjoyed a wonderful mini vacation with our two labs at Made Inn Vermont. We chose room 904 and had plenty of room for the four of us. Linda provided us great dinner recommendations for our evenings with and without the pups. Breakfasts were fabulous! We would not hesitate to return!
Made INN Vermont is perfect. The innkeeper, Linda, has thought of everything. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The bed was especially comfortable (see photo for proof). We enjoyed checking out the books, games, records and instruments set up throughout the house. Our room and bathroom were spotless. We brought our dog along, and when we arrived, there were clean bowls, treats and a little toy for her. The breakfast was incredible—especially the blueberry pancakes. The inn is within walking distance of Church Street, the University of Vermont and the waterfront. Linda has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area and gives great recommendations. We can’t wait to come back!
Wonderful hospitality with everything you may need! Loved the yummy snacks provided and very comfortable rooms. Very cute decor along with delicious breakfast and in a great location!! I had a very nice stay and would come again for sure. Highly recommend!!!
The Inn was not my cup of tea. For the rates, I would have expected a higher end experience. The rooms are filled with cheap furnishings. The throw pillows in our room were dirty and frayed. The bed was lumpy! The Inn had a very unusual smell which was not attractive. It felt slightly grimy. The worst part was the bathroom for our room was on another floor! The outside area in the back of the Inn is not well maintained and does not look as nice as the picture. I would recommend staying at the Hotel Vermont. The rates are comparable and the venue is way better.
I came here for 3 nights with my French Bulldog, Jackson, and we both loved it and made ourselves at home. From the comfy bed to array of snacks & drinks to the delicious breakfast, there’s nothing not to love about this place! Linda was very helpful with restaurant and activities to bring Jackson and he especially loved getting some maple bacon at breakfast. Great location as it was walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and of course the beautiful Lake Champlain. I definitely want to take another trip up to Vernont in the fall and would stay here again, no questions asked.
My husband, and I along with our beloved German Shepherd, Cali we welcomed with open arms! The hostess/owner, Linda is a hoot! She dots every I and crosses every T in regards to finishing touches in order to please her guests. The rooms are super cozy and have such a cool vibe with great views! This place is gorgeous and the breakfasts (made to order) are SO scrumptious. Very cool sitting room/library, candy and other generous snacks and water and other drinks available at all times. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend Linda’s place. Having fun, laugh out loud conversations with her and her friend made my nights! MIchelle from Buffalo, NY
We had a great time at Made Inn. Linda took good care of us, made sure we were comfortable, made amazing breakfasts, even got me a bag of GF breads because I asked her where she got the GF bread for her delicious avocado toasts. The mattress was very comfortable, the place peaceful, quirky and fun. Great record collection in our room, TV with Netflix and Hulu, etc., cute little desk and an Eames chair, games and fun books everywhere. Red heart balloons! Breakfast on the front porch or back garden oasis. Hot tub! Views of sunsets from the cupola, 24 hour a day snacks, treats, tea, beer, wine! Linda is a colorful character, I appreciate her desire to talk to her guests and take care of them, making sure they have fun in Burlington and at the inn. She also was very patient with our pup.…
XOXOX Linda - we miss you already ❤️. What an amazing 4th of July wknd staying at your wildly Victorian Eclectic B&B busting at the seams with so many curated mediums of art. Rooms filled with beautiful flowers, candy, music 🎶. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast each morning. We arrived heartbroken after losing our Frenchie Murphy of 10yrs a week prior to our visit to VT and really had no plan on where or what to do. You were a blessing steering us to experience some incredible adventures like the Bike Trail on the causeway on Lake Champlain, so breathtaking. The many exhibits at Shelburne Museum - perhaps one of the best museums we have ever been to. The endless list of eateries you provided us with and we were so happy to have to you join us on our last evening together- what a TRIP. LOL. Thank you beautiful host for making this one of our Best 4th of July Weekends in a very long time. We look forward to staying again with you soon and will be HIGHLY RECOMMENDING your establishment to all who plan on visiting VT. ❤️🥂🌸🎶 - A Rare Gem of a B&B. Felt like home away from home.…
I decided to travel to Burlington for my first solo vacation and was looking for a different experience than a regular hotel. This was the perfect choice for my stay. Linda (the innkeeper) is a gorgeous, eccentric woman, and her house reflects her personality well. Linda has the amenities all figured out. There was a wide selection of snacks and drinks available. The hot tub outside was awesome. Access to Hulu, Netflix and other streaming services on the in-room TV. There was a record player and a variety of records in my room which I thought was a unique touch! Breakfast was amazing every morning. My favorite room of the house was the top floor, with windows on all 4 sides. I had some tea and watched the sunset up there most nights, with views of downtown Burlington and the lake!…
We strongly recommend staying here, especially if you want to travel with your dog. The breakfast was incredible and the staff is very friendly. The location is also very good; just a short walk to downtown Burlington.
