We LOVED our stay at the Inn. I usually take a while to get to posting reviews, but we just returned home today and are still smiling from our fantastic stay and wanted to share. We had our small dog Ben with us, and this place is a complete gem for pet owners. Our room had a placemat and bowls for the dog, along with a new bag of treats and even a roll of “poop” bags. For the humans, it was beautifully decorated in a chic/artsy style with a chalk board wall where guests could leave their stamp. Snacks galore in the room and all the comforts of home..nothing was missed in terms of hospitality. Can we talk about how amazing it is that this place is all inclusive? My hubby is a craft beer lover and Heady Topper is stocked in your room fridge. Breakfast was absolutely incredible, they will literally create a custom menu to your liking. I happen to be vegan and Linda and her staff made sure I had an array of options. The avocado toast is unreal! The best part, Linda brought a bowl of eggs and bacon up to Ben (they are welcome in the common spaces too)...dog room service! Amazing and such a sweet touch! I booked a local dog sitter through the Rover app (Grace was great!), so if you’re considering bringing your dog but want to do some things that aren’t dog friendly, like a boat ride, then that’s a great option. Be sure to check out the awesome observatory lounge on the fourth floor, sunset views of Lake Champlain while you sip your Bellini or beer in an eclectic space. Linda is so friendly, funny and charming...awesome to meet someone in VT with like minded views. Wanted to mention, there is hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes everywhere and even a bucket of PPE in the rooms, in case you are feeling nervous. And I love the American flags on the front porch, it was so refreshing to see. We loved our stay and hope to be back again!!

Property's Favorite Review
Spent a few days in Burlington at the Inn. The best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in, breakfast was fantastic every day not just some danish and a coffee. It was a full breakfast and was very good including decadent maple bacon! As the other reviews note the host has snacks and drinks out 24/7 both in your room and in the kitchen including wine and local beer. Enjoyed the hot tub after doing the lake bike path. Really close to downtown and UVT. Read the other reviews, yes the bathroom is down the hall but it’s yours for the entire stay and you get a key and it is very nice, if that’s a huge problem for you then this is not the place for you. You will be unhappy and Linda will be very unhappy because she is all about you having a great stay. So why is it “the best” Inn? I have to get some work done while traveling so I get up early to get it done. The last day I came downstairs to set up in the common area at 0600. Although coffee is normally not out until 0800 Linda heard me sneaking down the stairs made some coffee and brought me the attached tray, fresh scone included!

Dear Kirby105 Guests, Thank you, we so enjoyed hosting the "Down-Under" couple... yes, not Australian nor New Zealand; but rather our US Submarine experts! It's great to meet another "Make America Great Again" or is it "Keep America Great" couple... as we can't have too many of those when you are an American?! Love you guys. Linda in Liberal Land or is that Bernie Land? Whatever,...just hosting "FANTASTIC" stays for all!

Since about half the flights to Burlington have been canceled, my most desirable flight got in at 9:20 pm—3 hours past check-in time at Made Inn Vermont. Nevertheless, Linda welcomed me with a glass of wine, and after a delightful turn in the hot tub, I slept marvelously well. The place is old and interesting and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was creative and delicious. Staying here was a wonderful way to start my Vermont vacation.

Walking into this historical bed & breakfast, one would never have one expect it is pet friendly, as it seems too good to be true. After being greeted on the porch, by our innkeeper, we were mesmerized by the details of the hand carved, woodwork, and architecture of this circa 1800's home. You will be staying at a beautiful piece of history, yet it is updated, and modern in decor, as well as amenities. I stayed with my son, and 2 parrots, so we we were given pads to put underneath their carriers. Our room had a cool chalkboard wall, as well as robes, slippers, a mini fridge, stocked with an assortment of bottled water, specialty juice, soda, and local beer, in the closet. There were also a basket of snacks (the beverages and snacks are included, at no extra charge). The bed was quite comfy, and as an extra bonus, there was a record player, with a variety of records to choose from. Each room has its own private bathroom, that is a few seconds, down the hall (you are given a key). All of the guest rooms, have a code on the door, so you do not have to worry about keys, when coming in and out. Downstairs, there are snacks, coffee/tea, bottled water, as well as beer and wine, that are also included in the price of the room. In the morning, you have the option to order breakfast from a menu (also included in the price), and can eat inside, on the front porch, or the back patio. The inn is very clean, and in each room, bottles of hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, and peroxide are provided.. There was also a hand sanitizing station, downstairs. The inn is such a unique space, with the convenience of being a few minutes, from downtown Burlington. The owner of this establishment, is helpful, and loves animals. She does not have any pets of her own, at the inn, but she welcomes your feathered, and furry friends. Some may be consider this to be a bit expensive, but it is a good deal, as the food provided is enough, where you will most likely only have to eat out, once/day. I also have never heard of any bed & breakfast that not only offers 5 star service, but allows pets, and includes alcohol. You will also feel, right at home. Though the amenities are far from lacking, there is a casual feel. I actually dined at breakfast, in my nightgown. Lol. I wish we could have stayed longer, and if I come back to Burlington, this will be where I will stay.

Great find in Burlington. Room was amazing and Linda was a great host. Had a romantic evening with my wife and a great breakfast on their porch. Beautiful and fun property. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to not stay at a large hotel.
