After reading reviews online I had low expectations. I ended up loving this campground. Yes, the sites can be close together. We looked online and chose a site that worked for us with water and electric, and not as crowded as some. Restrooms were fair. The best thing is the location, the beach is beautiful, with sandy areas as well... More

Wow! You are only minutes from North Beach which is one of the best beaches in the North East! Enjoy all the benefits of a ocean, but in a lake. No sharks, no crabs, just beautiful clear water with mountain views. The campground is clean and staff is friendly. The campground is on a hill, so biking and scootering is... More

Camping on Lake Champlain, but still in the city. Very reasonable sites within walk to the beach. The beach was closed while we were there due to algae bloom. Camp is right on the bike/walking path. Site was large and somewhat unlevel, but not bad. Had to pay for showers with quarters. Not a big deal, I guess fairly common... More

The North Beach Campground is a Burlington city park. It is right on the shores of Lake Champlain on the north side of Burlington. The Lake Champlain bikeway runs right alongside of the campground. Some of the driveways are asphalt and some are gravel/dirt. Site pads are grass. We had a full hook up, back-in site with 50 amp electric... More

Second time we stayed at this campground. The location and price are super! The sites feel quite small because there are no trees between sites. The bathrooms/showers get 1 star. Beware: sites 129-133 back up to a graveyard (there is a fence that blocks the view; but once you know it's there...). If you're kids are really into ghost stories,... More

We would rate this campground as decent. Loved: -beautiful, sandy beach -AMAZING playground of the kids -employees were very friendly and there were many of them -easy walk to the beach (close for the kids) -park itself was clean -picnic tables were in excellent shape an a good size -most campsites were quite flat -grounds were pretty with the very... Camped in our RV here for two nights. Fantastic access to the Burlington Bike Path which in turn gives you access to the Burlington waterfront, parks, beaches, etc. Sites were spacious although we did have to use the leveling blocks. Good bathroom facilities with coin operated showers. Lots of park staff at work on the grounds. We had hookups with... More

Just got home from North Beach campground and loved it! Location is great with the beach so close and the bike trail has the most beautiful views of the lake. We biked to the Causeway and back and the scenery was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond to help! One night a... More

OK, I've read some rough reviews on this place. Personally I have been coming here since the early 1970's. I'll be back again in two weeks. For a city with $300 a night hotels you cannot compare. Total two nights around $92.00 with full electric and water, Wi-Fi. You also get free access to all Burlington parks. Basic tent site... More

We accidently booked the wrong night when we came to the campground, and needed to be moved To another campsite. We were helped by an attendant named chris who wanted to try and give us the best experience at the campsite. He helped move us and when I caught a ride on his golf cart, he was reprimanded by his...
