Lovely hotel. Food very good. Always hot, fresh and plenty of choice. The staff in the restaurent were great, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable and bedding was spotless, crisp and fresh. Furniture is slightly tired and old but it did its job. My one complaint was that i overheard a receptionist speaking very unkindly to... More

I just spent 1 night here but would definitely stay again. Centrally located, very clean, great staff. My only mild complaint is they do not have parking. However there are plenty of meters right outside and a few parking garages nearby. Definitely a good experience.

Stayed here while in town for a friend's wedding. For a hostel, this place is perfect. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, location is very convenient, there's a good amount of shared space with games available, and they serve coffee and waffles in the morning. The price is right as well. Would recommend!

There is a great vibe at this hostel. Breakfast is a big thing here, there's a huge fridge for everyone to keep their food and each morning the staff make waffle mixture for you to make your own waffles in the waffle maker. When I was there we tended to share food seated at the large communal tables which was... More

The rooms are set up with four bunk beds in each room, so eight people sleep comfortably. There's a lounge area with a piano, a cute kitchen where you can indulged in complimentary waffles, clean showers, and a bike rack to keep your ride safe inside the building. They compost and recycle. To keep the area clean, they ask you... More

Overall, our brief stay at the Burlington Hostel was okay. It's a hostel. There's not too much more to add, except that it was clean, they had night lamps for reading if need be, and we made it through the night without losing a body organ. I would have rated this as very good, but I left a library book... More

One of those flaky hostels where you can get drunk, pass out, and vomit all the over place but, for God's sake, don't wear shoes inside. Stopped in on my way to Maine a couple weeks ago. Went to bed at fairly normal hours, only to be kept up by lights that were still on over the sleeping areas and... More

The burlington hostel is a nice place to stay, to begin with. It is very clean (the staff actually got upset when someone in my room was messy), there is enough room for everyone in the rooms and common area, it's in a good location in downtown burlington. Not to mention the staff are so nice and willing to help... More

I stayed at the Burlington hostel for a six days in July, 2015, and it was an excellent stay. While I'd stayed at many hostels in Europe in my youth, this was my first time in 15 years, and I'm not sure how well I'd be received as a 51-year-old. It wasn't necessary to have worried. The staff are calm... More

“Choose a room and mark it somehow-I left the towel given to me upon arrival on top of my bed only to find that someone else had claimed i as i was out and about-not a big deal, slept on top bunk instead. Also if you are coming in after 10pm, have your nighttime things accessible so you don't have to hunt around in the dark. Don't forget to bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. Also a bath towel is provided, so you may want to bring a face cloth or two.”
