I want to give review about the lake bomoseen campground where we stayed for 2 nights. We are group of 5.We enjoy our first night stay even though we arrived lake at the site.Comes at 9ish when 2 cops show up and one state park employee checking on us.One of my friend didn't display the gate pass infront of her car... If you need that peace and quiet you were looking for, that place for a day of fishing, that "go jump in the lake" moment, that beautiful sunrise and sunset, Lake Bomoseen is the place to beach leave all the stress behind. Camp grounds has electricity, store, laundry mat, arcade and they are on the lake. Free boat launching and... More

We booked this because we are KOA members and with a 10 y.o. we like that all in total kids experience. The reviews bash this place, it is not that bad, but some things you should know. Half the park is seasonal renters, the other half daily. Apparently the wi-fi and your cell phone work better on that side. This... More

Too bad it is in a great location, but is staffed by unhelpful morons at check in. We had a premium site that had electrical wires running through the trees for some unknown reason. It appeared someone used trees as telephone poles and ran electricity to some sites. It's just not a very nice place to bring a family. If... More

We went for a quick overnight stop. I was not thrilled with the lack of warmth from the staff, especially those on the phone. This is the worst KOA we have stayed at. We have stayed at many from Florida, to New England, to Ohio, New York . These folks are lethargic. If they don't like dealing with the public,... More

We picked this campground because we wanted a little more than the state parks offered..in particular the hot tub. The hot tub is "out of order" and no idea when it will work. I'm not so much upset about it being unavailable as I am about the attitude of the woman working at the counter when we asked about it.... More

Came here with hopes and anticipation of kayaking and a hot tub. The hot tub was on the fritz and kayaking is to start in shallow swampy terrain. The kayaking I'll swallow as the vistas compensated for the buggy start. I'm miffed over the hot tub for no reason other than this.....why pay more if things don't work. Plenty of... More

They took us to our camp site backwards on a one way road . The road was very narrow with trees lining the road. As we got to our site the road angled to the right, tilting our camper into a tree and ripped the awning off. To add to it, we we're put into a seasonal site next to... More

Lake Bomoseen KOA may have all the yellow KOA signs, but after camping in many KOA's in other regions and other states along the east coast, and being a KOA member, this one just doesn't make the grade. The site was level and reasonably sized, but we couldn't do anything outdoors due to the hoards of mosquitos that called this... More

I was super excited about having the lake nearby...very disappointed when we got there. They have like 175 ft of shore(if you can call it that). There are two docks surrounded by Lilly pads as far as the eye can see. There is a little path through if you rent a boat. Once you get away from the campground the... More
