Stayed on the second floor, end room, of the building along the lake. Spacious and updated. Everyone at the Lodge and taproom could not be nicer. Stayed Thursday until Sunday. Ate dinner twice and lunch once in the Taproom. All meals were awesome (smoked wings are a must order).

Lake Bomoseen Lodge is an awesome place on a whole. Condo was attractive and very clean. Lake is clean and beautiful with fun water activities included in resort fee. Really awesome of them to leave continental breakfast out until it is gone (well beyond the 10:30 stated cut off time). Mostly grab and go for breakfast. Office help is lovely with an awesome “can do” attitude. They clearly look for ways to make guests happy. Free kayaks, paddle boards and water mats/trampoline are fabulous. A very few negatives include a HORRIBLE mattress on the very lumpy pull out bed. We were accommodated with a first floor condo, but every footstep (and more) could be heard from upstairs. WiFi is VERY spotty, and only Verizon users seemed to get cell service. There was no way to get a WiFi call off so we had to drove drive down by the highway for cell service. Non working phone in condo was reported, but never fixed during our stay. Boat lramp/launch In disrepair, and a fee of $35 to dock a small boat seemed somewhat excessive. Lake entrance for swimming very rocky, so bring water shoes. Also, as about 65% of accommodations are across a busy highway and up a steep hill, it is difficult for children. Condo steps are steep, so be clear of where your accommodations are if you have mobility or lifting issues. Outdoor pool cold Tavern hit and miss with food. Over all would recommend Lake Bomoseen Lodge, and we will definitely return. Loved the little diner in town with great weekday specials.

This lodge was a great find! We stayed overnight and went to their tap room. Their rooms were very clean, new, and updated. We loved the lake view rooms. And their food and beer menu was amazing. We would love to try this place in all four seasons!

We recently stayed twice at the condo/suites at Lake Bomoseen Lodge and Taproom. The accommodations have been recently updated and are very nice: the units are spacious, the kitchens are well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. What provides a mixed bag, however, seems to be the age of the buildings. Although the units are well appointed, the access to the buildings is not accessible and can be steep and slippery in winter. Our first stay found the access downright treacherous in spite of the wonderful employee spreading ice melt. Also on our first stay, the heat and hot water failed on our second night. Worth mentioning is also that multiple reviewers have mentioned the thin walls. This is a thing: we could easily hear the conversations etc. of all our neighbors very clearly. Having said all this, I would still recommend Lake Bomoseen Lodge. The location is wonderful and, as mentioned, the staff is the best. The restaurant on site is also a plus. It is an easy walk from the rooms, the food is good, and on the nights we were there, the live music was well worth a listen.
