Stayed here for a most enjoyable week in July while doing music at the college chamber music conference. Can thoroughly recommend it and hope to come back next year. The Eddington House Inn has several spacious, beautifully furnished and kept, comfortable rooms, with a bed in the "Susie" suite which was so comfy that I slept extremely well all week.... More

Well, it wasn't raining, but we were made welcome by owner Cathy Jaeger who offered a delightful room with the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. Breakfast was spectacular - homemade French Toast to die for. A great location, well decorated and well staffed. Off the beaten tract but worth it.

This area of Vermont has so much to do and see. The inn is well cared for and very clean. The room was lovely, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent! Cathy is a gracious and thoughtful innkeeper. We look forward to another stay.

We spent only one night at this charming bed and breakfast as we were travelling through SE Vermont, but it was a very nice little stay. The innkeeper, Kathy, was very sweet and her French Toast with local maple syrup is to die for! She had delicious mini-blueberry scones for us as we arrived which we munched on after having... More

I stayed a night in Suzie's Room at Eddington House Inn on Nov 5, 2015. Cathy was a great and sweet host. Overall place was definitely in a good maintenance and clean. Food and sweet treat provided was more than enough. I love Cathy's French Toast the most that I could have asked her for more...curiously how she could do... More

Suite was very spacious. Afternoon refreshment was beautiful and breakfast was awesome. The owner was so gracious and helpful. Many books and brochures provided for our use. Wish we could have stayed longer. Loved it!! The beds and pillows were so soft, slept great.

Pros: Interesting historic building. Nice bed. Clean bathroom. Cons: New Innkeeper not familiar with area except for restaurants so you will have to find other activities on your own. Inn is on a main road so it was very loud starting at 6 AM. Trucks, etc. Innkeeper served us breakfast without asking if we had any issues with food. Very... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The Fair Suite upstairs was very spacious with a separate sitting room and very large shower with dual shower heads. Decor was very colonial to match the history of the Inn. Even the wood flooring is original from the late 1700s. The bed felt like a tempurpedic so we slept like logs.... More

We stayed at Eddington House on our way to the Vermont State Fair. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed there on our way back to NY as well. The inn is small with only 4 rooms but three of those are suites with sitting rooms attached to the bedrooms. The new owner has upgraded the linens and towels... More

Pros: • Classic New England décor • Main kitchen looks like scene from Food Network • Reasonable rate plus no weekend minimum stay requirement Cons: • Room needed a bit of TLC • Street noise Nestled in a quintessential Vermont town lies a quintessential Vermont bed & breakfast. The Eddington House Inn exudes charm and a soft-spoken elegance. The kitchen... More
