This hotel is way overpriced. It is on par with the Best Western down the street. The rooms are bland. The best one can say is that it is clean but overall mediocre; breakfast is terrible. Staff are nice.

A pleasant stay with helpful staff. The hotel is clean, attractive and conveniently located. Bennington is of historical importance and the Berkshires offer a wide variety of activities to suit all members of the family.

Hampton Inn in Bennington Vermont is extremely overpriced and the only reason we can come up with, is that there are no other decent (not 40+ year old dumps) hotels in the area. Food, service, amenities were all mediocre. Always choose Hampton as our hotel of choice, however, this one left a lot to be desired.

We recently changed hotels to this one from a horrible place. What a delight! The staff was very friendly and and helpful. The rooms were very clean and updated as were the bathrooms. there was a good work out facility. There was also a clean pool. Breakfast was good and hours worked well starting quite early. All in all I... More

Stopped by for a layover. There are other Hiltons in Troy, Rutland, and Brattleboro, but depending on your travels it may be a bit out of the way. This place at Bennington is your average Hampton - nothing bad, nothing exceptional. It's a bit expensive though considering the economic atmosphere of this area; consider it a tax to help the... In a location where chain hotels are not the norm, I was glad to stay here for one night last week. It was perfect for our needs--nice and clean, quiet. Friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. Exactly what you would hope to find at your hotel. Also has a pool but we didn't use it.

I stay at Hamptons often--they are my first choice wherever I travel. I am rarely disappointed but I was at this location. My issues are 2-fold. First, the place was somewhat musty, especially down at my end of the hall. It wasn't terrible but it was noticeable, something that almost never happens at Hamptons. Second, despite a "no pets" policy,... More

Only stayed one night, as a layover to a longer trip, but was quite happy. The staff very friendly and helpful. Room and hotel clean and in good order. Town not too far with a few good places to eat, and you can go quick with things closer like a Chilis. Breakfast was good as well.

This was the second year in a row the WiFi routers were so weak I could not lock into a signal to access anything. The front desk staff acknowledged they knew of this, but had no plans to correct. For the relativity high price of this room, this was unacceptable. I will never stay here again, but instead will stay... More

Welcoming attentive staff; spotless, comfortable room; and great breakfast all combined to provide a restful refreshing visit. This Hotel offers the perfect location with direct connection to state highways, Bennington College, Bennington Monument, Bennington Potters and Hemming's Motor News and Museum.
