We stayed in room 1 which was huge and very beautiful with a large spotlessly clean bathroom. this is not your usual homely bed and breakfast with hands on hosts and in my opinion should be advertised under the hotel section as it is more like a hotel. . The Manager was fairly new and also new to the area...

Having stayed all over the country and at many different establishments, this is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed in the US. The owners are incredibly warm and friendly to start with. Second, the amenities are fantastic. It gives a history buff the feelings of what it would have been like to be alive in...

This was such a beautiful inn! We stayed in the 'ice house (room 8)' which was just behind the actual house. It was so perfect! My mom took the larger part of the room and I stayed in the loft. The owners were so helpful and committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. I would be happy to...

Had a wonderful one night stay at the inn. We stayed in Room 4 which was a lovely room on the 2nd floor. The inn is situated on a very quiet street which is always a plus when staying away from home. It also has a beautiful front porch that I would imagine is wonderful when the weather is warmer....

My wife and I just spent two nights at the beautiful and very comfortable Four Chimneys Inn. It was our first visit to Bennington and we could not have had a more perfect base for our stay, We were warmly greeted by the inn-keeper's mom and then introduced to our clean and lovely room on the second floor. The inn...

Beautiful historic Inn, prime location, friendly innkeepers, a top experience. Our room was spacious and perfect in every detail, even with a warm, cozy fireplace. Breakfasts were delicious and served in a room with an inspiring garden view. We highly recommend this home-away-from-home.

Lynn (the owner with her husband) was personable and friendly. Additionally, she is very fit. While I was filling out the registration she grabbed two 50+ pound suitcases and hauled them to the 2nd floor. When I caught her I told her I would do that. She insisted that was her job but did let me take my case while...

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Four Chimneys Inn in Bennington. Lynn, the owner, greeted us warmly upon our arrival. She gave us great ideas for our tour of the area. Our room was gorgeous, serene, and beautifully decorated, with gorgeous views. The Inn has a living room with a full bar, which the innkeepers tend on an as-needed...

We arrived a little before check-in time but was warmly welcomed and taken to our room. The lady at check-in could not have been more friendly or accommodating. She told us about the local attractions, the Inn and let us take the notebook listing area dinning establishments to our room so we could decide where to go for dinner. Our...

The inn and grounds are beautiful - well except the fountain could be improved. Our bathroom had been updated, but lacked craftsmanship. The room looked period appropriate - but the Victorian sofa in the room was very uncomfortable. There is a cash bar in a nice sitting room that has limited selections. The hot breakfast wasn't fancy - but it...
