This place is small but clean. The staff was outstandingly friendly. Minimal emanates . No food. No coffee in the rooms but ready and waiting in the office. What they lack in emanates they make up for with the kindest most caring owner ever! He was very biker friendly which made for a great night!

We were pleasantly surprised. Although this place is a mid-century relic, it is beautifully preserved (I was in love with the blue bathroom fixtures) and our room was immaculate. Comfort items (a fridge and a microwave) were provided. It's not fancy, and doesn't pretend to be. Just a terrific spot at a very fair price.

Surrounded by great m'cycle roads, this place is a gem. Rooms are clean, amenities a very good. What makes this place SPECIAL is these guys CARE. When we arrived, he had a little piece of wood for our kickstand (90+ temp, the tar was potentially soft), it rained overnight, he had towels hanging on the bike to wipe up!!! He... More

There's not much to say that hasn't been said by others. Accommodations are basic, but there's everything you need for a good night's rest. Rejean and Donna are kind an friendly hosts. You could not meet nicer people. My family and I have been coming here since the 80's, and I hope to be able to stay here for a... More

Stayed the night during a motorcycle trip through Vermont. The clerk on duty was friendly and accommodating. It was a stormy evening and he supplied us with old towels to wipe down our bikes. There are restaurants in walking distance and coffee available at the office in the morning. Stayed in one of the cabin units and found it dated... More

Stumbled across this little gem while driving in Barre, Vermont. Owned and operated by the same man for 42 years, the Twin City Motel is an wonderful little hotel. Great value, exceptionally well-maintained, and spic-n-span clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay.

Twin City Motel doesn't pretend to be a resort, for sure. Perhaps by the standards of some, it could be considered spartan. However, if your need is for a room that is unquestionably spotless and priced modestly, I can give this hostelry absolutely the highest marks. Our room had TV, microwave, complimentary wi-fi, and air conditioning. (Didn't sample the latter... More

Great for the value. It is very convenient, just off the highway! No frill, but they do have wifi. It is an old school motel! It is a great place to stay for 1 night if you are passing through town, which is what I dis!

Convenient and inexpensive place to stay right off I-89 and just a few miles outside of Montpelier (a nicer town than Barre). The room was clean and comfortable for one night, which was all we really needed. The price seemed quite fair for the area. If you're heading up the interstate and need to make an overnight stop, this place... More

The only positive thing of this motel is that the owner is very kind. The room, that was badly smelling, and the bathroom were very very small, the queen bed was uncomfortable, no breakfast, no coffee-maker in the room: all this at the price of approx 100 $. Too much. I would not return here, and I would not recommend... More
