If you plan to stay more than 1 night go elsewhere. Stayed 3 nights and the room wasn't cleaned. Trash wasn't emptied, coffee wasn't replenished, beds weren't made. On the positive side, the staff is pleasant and the breakfast (which is down a flight of steps in the

I'm so sorry to hear that you did not get service in your room during your stay. This is not the norm, unless the guest puts a "Do Not Disturb" sign outside their door. Our housekeeping staff normally goes to every room daily to freshen up. They would re-make the bed, change out the trash, refill any cups, coffee,or any in-room amenities needed. They would also take out dirty towels and replace with fresh towels if needed. We do participate in the Choice Hotels "Room to be Green" program where the guest can decide if they would like to re-use their towels or have them replaced with fresh ones, or if they would like their sheets changed or not. There are cards in all rooms that explain this program. Either way, I apologize that you did not receive the service when you wanted it. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and have used your comments as a training opportunity with our housekeeping staff. We hope you might give us another chance to serve you better in the future.

Upon arrival I was informed that instead of applying my military discount for my room, the motel would give us our third night free. That sounded good to me but when I checked out of my room Sara informed me that this was not the case but that she would honor the third night

Credit was issued to the credit card on file, so I'm not sure why you would say that it was not refunded? We take great pride in our hotel and our guest comfort. Although it is difficult to receive negative guest feedback, we take it very seriously and will be using your comments to help us improve for the future. The Choice Hotels Winter promotion states that you must stay 2 separate times, and then you would earn enough bonus points for a free night at over 1,500 hotels nationwide. I'm sorry that the new desk clerk did not explain that properly when you had inquired. We have used this incident as a training opportunity and we very much apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. We hope you might give us another chance in the future to provide you with the excellent service we are known for.

Yes. They say quiet time is 10pm, but in Barre time that is apparently 8:30pm. I wouldn’t suggest that anyone stay here.
