I loved the bungalow. We did the Shooting Star 2 Bedroom Bungalow and it was new and great. Lots of plugs and private bathroom. We were close to the office so could grab the wifi. That's the only issue if you are not close you might not have wifi. I personally don't want a tent or wagon without a private bathroom but the younger guests we met loved the wagon and we both said it's better than UnderCanvas which is far more expensive. I also stayed at Flannigan's which has a better location but still preferred the bungalow. It would be nice to put TVs in these rooms as well.

My girlfriends and I decided to have a girls getaway this past weekend, glamping style. Although the place is super cute they still have a lot to work on. They advertise that someone will cart our things to our tent - didn’t happen and it was super annoying to have to lug all of our things through the gravel and extreme heat. Also, our tent was super hot even though there was a portable a/c unit. We called numerous times to request a fan and no one answered. When we finally got someone they gave us the run around but someone called back a few minutes later and said they’d give us a fan. About 2 hours later, we finally got one. Housekeeping didn’t check on us and on our last day, we had to track someone down for fresh towels. We honestly felt like there was no help or presence from anyone! Despite these annoyances, Zion Wildflower is still an adorable place. The tent was spacious and we loved the warm decor and outside patio, they have clean and air conditioned bathrooms, bicycles to use, a great open area with games, sitting area and bbq’s for cooking, a small playground for kids, a cozy fire pit and a bbq food truck that’s available on some days. All in all, we had a great time when the sun was down and we chatted the night away on our balcony. I suggest going during a time when it’s cooler especially if you want to stay in a tent. I hope they fix these customer service issues because they have a lot of potential!

So, we booked our stay in a tent in April 2021. We thought glamping sounded fun and the Instagram pictures sure were pretty! However, upon arrival, we quickly realized it's not all it seems.
Be aware, the tents and wagons are up a gravelly hill. You will need a wagon to pull your luggage up to your unit. The bathrooms are DOWN the gravelly hill. After seeing where we would be walking in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, we changed to a room.
The rooms were clean and modern. We did enjoy the outdoor fire pit and amenities, but honestly, for half the price we could have stayed at the hotel down the road that offered a pool and onsite food options.
It is peaceful and the pictures are pretty, but expensive for the area.
Kids will love the tents and wagons, but be aware of the distance to get to bathrooms. The gravel walkway seems hazardous if you need to stumble down in the middle of the night!
In addition, the wi-fi does not work if you are beyond the office location. We had to sit outside to get service which was not ideal.

This place might look good on social media, but it is an unhealthy and unfriendly mess.

Most importantly, there was very little awareness of basic COVID health measures. While we were in the tiny office checking in, staff and guests would enter without masks and close the door behind them! We also saw housekeeping staff, unmasked, enter the office eating food on a stick. Also, our room didn’t have any shower gel, leaving us wondering what housekeeping was up to.

This place is clearly aiming for the luxury “glamping” market, but the experience and location fall woefully short of the expensive price tag. Located on a bluff, the site is surrounded by power lines and an active construction site, which take away from the admittedly great views. We avoided the common space, but it felt more like a picnic area in a neighborhood park rather than a wilderness oasis.

Service and amenities were also lacking. The wifi did not work, which is a big problem given cell service is extremely poor. Coffee in the room and office was provided with only the cheapest powdered creamer you would expect at a Jiffy Lube, not a luxury resort. And staff were unfriendly and did not seem to care about any of these issues. Stay elsewhere!

We arrived at Zion on a Sunday and got settled in pretty quick then my wife found a stain (looks like a dried poop stain), called the frontdesk to request for a housekeeping to change the linens but was told to go to the office. When my wife talked to poppy at the front desk and asked for housekeeping to change linens, poppy was already abrasive and irritable and told us that they had a lot of complaints that day and housekeeping had already left for the day (1530ish) She didnt care to apologize about the stain and decided to move us to another room (which we didnt want in the first place since we were all settled in) but who wants to sleep in a nasty bed anyways. Every questions we asked she would answer with an abrasive tone and sarcastic manner. So my wife confronted poppy(frontdesk) and gave her honest opinion that she was frustrated and annoyed by the treatment we had experienced from her and told her that this was not the glamping experience we were expecting and we were only asking for a change of linens not a room change and in fhe middle of it, poppy has the audacity to tell us that there will be a $50 charge for a room experience which we didnt even requested. Clearly, they don’t know what customer service is since we were asked to get our stuff out of the dirty room, go back to the office to give the keys and drive to our new room. In the office a staff came in while we were in the middle of that issue, a gave a sharp stare at my wife.
My wife didn't feel safe spending the night after everything, but didn't want to argue with office staff since it is non-refundable. It took us a while to rest, thinking of how we’ve been treated, and how a person can give us a crappy treatment. The experience was exhausting, we didn't even get a chance to enjoy the sunset or even do the smores that evening. We paid the same amount that others did, but got an unfair and rude treatment. We did not see it coming, we were treated sarcastically, rudely and unprofessionally.
We were so hyped about Zion and the experience was truly phenomenal, minus the glamping experience. It will take 5mins for a person to destroy the experience and throw their trash at you for a fee.
I know this post will have various reactions from people who enjoyed their stay at the wildflower resort, but this will also give an awareness to people working in this kind of field(customer service) that you do not choose who to give your utmost service. Everybody should be treated equally.

My wife and I will never come back and waste our money staying at zion wildflower resort again! Never ever!

This is a review of the Watchman Canvas Tent: it got up to 90 degrees at Zion last week, so we headed to the tent at about 3pm after hiking since 7am. It was extremely hot and the tent was not cooled at all. We subsequently could not cool the tent and went to a restaurant for a couple hours to stay cool. The tent does not have a mini fridge and only has 1 outlet in it! It was fun having the kids fight over the 1 outlet! If you like sharing a bathroom/shower with 50 of your closest strangers you will love this place. Glad we did it early because they get pretty gross later on. They do a good job cleaning, but 4 bathrooms/showers for at least a dozen tents/wagons is too much. The tents are pretty close together and my kids got to hear the gentle next to me playing his explicit music until I yelled at him at about 9:30pm, which was about the time the tent finally was cooling off.

Bottom line: for the price it is not worth staying here. Go to the Fairfield across the street where they at least have a pool. Or there are much better glamping places on the other side of Zion toward Bryce where you pay half and get your own bathroom.

Zion Wildflower is a must! It’s is such a unique “glancing experience.” You can really make it what you want as well. You go clamp in the wagons or in the tents and then use their bathhouses which are large and lock and feature a nice shower sink and toilet. Or you can go with more of the traditional comforts of home in the grand Mesa tents or the cabins.

We stayed in a cabin which featured our own little covered porch with stunning views of the mountains, sunrise sunsets, and stars at night. It is so dark the stars are incredible. The cabin also had a pullout couch and some rooms have bunk beds as well to fit larger groups. It had everything you could need and was very clean and new. The bed was comfortable and the decor was so cute! The only thing lacking was a tv but it is a true glancing experience :)

The property itself was also great. They have a beautiful large pool and large hot in with great views again. They also have a large fire pit area at night where they give you supplies to make s’mores. Near that area they have a covered seating area with large grills as well for guest use. The property really gives you access to anything you could need.

Jamie at the front desk was SO helpful giving us tips and ideas for hikes and things to do in the area and also restaurant ideas. They were so welcoming and accommodating for anything you might need. Also the smell in the buildings was so good I need to know what they use :)

And lastly the location is fantastic. You are about 15 min from Zion National park/Springdale or about 10 minutes from La Verkin which was a nice area with a great grocery store that was cheaper than Springdale. Also being out away from the tourists gives you the quiet and beautiful dark skies.

You will not be disappointed if you stay at Zion Wildflower! Truly a unique experience at a lovely clean location! Will definitely be back and want to try the grand Mesa tent!

My wife is not a camper at all, but when she found the Zion Wildflower with its covered wagon rooms, we booked immediately. As we toured the southwest this summer, this was by far the most memorable hotel room we stayed. When the kids saw the covered wagon, they were out of their heads. The whole resort is very nicely done. They have what appears to be three distinct types of rooms: Covered wagons, yurt style tents, and stand alone modern cabins. Only the cabins have their own bathrooms. Us wagon and tent folk have to walk about 50 feet for a very clean and private bathroom. All rooms have AC/heat, which is nice.

Everything is clean and very nicely done. This resort appears fairly new and is adding rooms and I think a pool, which would be great to soak in after a day hiking Zion. They also have a community area in the center of the resort which houses swing sets, games, a grilling area and fire pit where people can gather and get to know each other.

It is probably about 15 minute drive to Zion entrance from here and that is my only gripe. I would still stay here again, but wish it was a little closer to the downtown Springdale area so we could walk around to restaurants, etc.

We went on a short girls trip and landed on this stay. We thought a wagon would be such a unique stay. The grounds were perfection. Upon arriving there was live music, families together in hammocks while children were running and playing with included activities. As I said we chose to stay in the wagon. These wagons do have air conditioning and it stayed at a good temp. The space was clean. The downside to this stay is that it says that it includes wifi but that’s only near the office it is not reached to the wagons and I have no cell service (application wireless). Another inconvenience is having to go to community showers and toilets. For all the wagons and yurts share around small number of individual bathrooms. It was over all a good stay!

We camped in Mid-May in a covered wagon for two nights. One day with no wind and one day with very high winds.

Pros:

The beds were so comfy!

Beautiful scenery surrounds the site

Lots of outlets for charging devices

AC worked great for those 90° days

One free bag of ice

Smores kit provided each night

Lots of games and hammocks to use

Bathrooms are clean and well equipped.

The wagons are very sturdy and well built.

Cons:

Hauling luggage up the hill to the wagon. They provide carts to haul luggage, but you still have to haul the cart.

Quiet hours are not enforced. We had a group of about 10 men singing and talking loudly around the campfire next to our wagon until midnight.

In high winds, the wagon shakes and the canvas flaps loudly. I thought someone had attached our wagon to horses and we were on a wagon train, it shook so much. It made it difficult to sleep.

Overall it is a great place to glamp. I do recommend it.

We are so happy that you would recommend staying at our resort. There are many extras that the resort offers and I am happy that you were able to take advantage of the fun. The wind does make its way through our canyon here, especially this year seems to be crazier than normal. We look forward to your next visit.

Balcony One is a greek restaurant about a 7 minute drive away. Reservations recommended. Otherwise you have to go to Springdale or La Verkin which are each 15-20 min.
