The staff are very helpful, but we found the office to be understaffed during our visit. Sites are close together with lots of concrete, but the park was quiet despite the close quarters. Not many trees. The showers were not very clean, and the five minute delay between showers was inconvenient at best. I didn't quite realize how far Zion... More

Site is well maintained, very clean. Amenities are great: pool, hot tub, and more. Laundry prices are HIGH. Bathrooms are bizarre. They are individual. Each one has one toilet, one sink, and one shower. If you are using it, the door is locked. You just need a handful of people taking showers in the AM, and the toilets and sinks... More

Thank you for your review. You have a great point about the restrooms. We realize some expansion is needed and we are talking about how and when we can make that happen. Otherwise we are glad you had a good experience here and feel you can recommend us to others. More

Nice park. A little too close to neighbors but it was fine. We had a back RV lot against the river. Couldn't see it but the sound of water was nice. Used the pool, restrooms, and showers. All great. We drove into the park (10 minutes?) and parked then used the shuttle to get around the park. Also took the... More

I love your Review Title..."Middle of nowhere..." Virgin really is a tiny little town. If we were in England, it would be called a village. But there are some great things about that as well. Every time I drove up to Zion National Park this year it was a madhouse; people and cars everywhere. It really does feel like a... More

We found the location of Zion River Resort convenient- just a few miles from Zion National Park and the shops in Springdale - our destination on this trip. The resort's salt water swimmimg pool was certainly a star attraction. Other conveniences included a gift shop/general store for the essentials. One recommendation would be to increase the number of washers and... More

Thank you for this 5-Star review. As Zion National Park's popularity has increased, we have seen an increase in visitation as well. We realize that some of our facilities like the laundry and restrooms need expansion to accommodate more guests. We are talking about how and when we can make that happen. We appreciate your recommendations and hope to have... More

This was an unplanned stop, as we discovered all tent campsites within Zion National Park were full - booking in advance is a must! This was our back up choice, being just outside the park entrance (and also 20 mins from the shops in the other direction). At ZRR the tent sites are separated from the RVs which is nice,... More

Thank you for sharing your experience in our tent sites. It really is almost impossible to get reservations at ZNP without booking months in advance. We do not have the same back-country feel that some people prefer for tenting, but we make up for it with all of the great amenities you mentioned. More

I suppose you would call this a “high end” RV park and as such the price reflects that. Nice asphalt driveways and level concrete pads with a grass strip in between, picnic table and fire ring. Pool, clubhouse, game room, laundry, etc. complete the picture. Two minor complaints, again, relative to the price. I’m not a big fan of individual... More

Thank you for your review. You had some constructive comments, but still appreciated our resort. I have received feedback from other guests that our cable television needs a little attention so we have a technician coming out to go over the system. I always appreciate when guests take the time to share these things that we need to know. More

We stayed in a Camper Cabin for 2 nights and had a blast. The cabin was clean and comfortable and bigger than expected. The 4 of us had plenty of room to stretch out. We had our own picnic table and fire ring. At first I thought we were too close to the people next door but at night we... More

We stayed at Zion River Resort for the month of September, 2015. Beautyful campground. The sites are well kept and so are the facilities and pool. Several sites provide nice shady trees and grass along with level concrete pads to pull your RV onto. The RV Resort is right next to the Virgin River and the views of the mountains... More

3 day stay, park overall clean and neat. Lots of shade trees to help shield from heat of sun. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spaces were big enough, we had a pull through for our 36ft Class A. with 2 slide outs. Convenient to Zion National Park and other attractions. We would stay here again. Thank you for mentioning the nice shade trees. It can make such a difference for guests who are not used to the warmer weather near Zion National Park. It has cooled down now and the leaves of our trees should start to change colors. It will be funny to have Fall Colors in November! More

If the park were 14 miles closer to Zion, it would be a five. We had spaces along the front wall, and they were hard to back into for the trucks with trailers. The green grass was very pretty and nice to sit out in the evenings, but the sprinklers require that you keep everything picked up and don't use... More

We are 13 miles/ a 20 minute drive to Zion which is nice because we are not congested like Springdale. We do request that nothing flat (mats, carpets, rugs) be placed on the grass because here in the desert if you were to place something like that on the grass it can kill it within hours due to our extreme...
