Tropic is a short scenic drive outside of Bryce, it was preferable over the touristy area of the chain hotels. Bybees was very clean and well kept. The room was surprisingly large. The best part was the hot , hot shower with great water pressure. The mattress was hard and needs to be replaced is my only complaint. Our room...

This was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms (we had two) were clean, roomy and supplied with absolutely everything we might need. Breakfast was not provided but we had a tea kettle, a microwave and a fridge and a couple of breakfast items that we could make ourselves. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet.

Stayed in October. Very convenient location by the Bryce canyon. Simple but very nice room with all amenities even including the energy bars. Clean and attractive but inexpensive. Breakfast isn't included. Highly recommended.

From the outside, this looks like "just another" little family motel, albeit one that is particularly well presented. However, once inside the room was huge, very well equipped for a stay of several days, and with numerous thoughtful touches such as cleaning cloths for boots, that you simply don't see in many places. Great VFM, we only stayed for one...

We booked this motel based on Tripadvisor reviews. Online photos are accurate, and I don't understand the raves. It's an adequate place for a short stay. Our room, a roadside queen, was clean and impressively quiet. Tropic is a tiny town that shuts down early, so there is virtually no noise from the street during the night. Although the motel...

We have visited Bryce Canyon National Park on three previous occasions and have stayed at the Lodge. Accommodations were not available for our time frame. Bryce City right outside of the park enterance is full of tour buses and crowds so we looked farther afield. We picked Bybee's in Tropic, about 10 miles down the road, and were very happy....

Very clean and quiet. Simple but nice. We wanted to stay at the entrance of Bryce but there was no vacancy.Instead we found a little gem. The short drive to Tropic was scenic and beautiful. We will definitely go back when we go to Bryce!

The pictures do not give this motel justice! This is a fantastic little place and we would highly recommend it as a place to stay! We stayed for one night as a stopover to visit Bryce Canyon. Our room was very spacious, very comfortable and EVERYTHING was super super clean! Check in was super efficient by a friendly young man...

Room was clean and quiet, complete with rags for cleaning your dirty shoes if any. It came complete with granolas, microwave, and kettle. Wifi was reliable! Location was about 10 - 15 minutes away from Bryce, and a good start to head out to the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.
