I’ve assigned our stay a full five stars - clean, spacious rooms with everything you need. Nice size fridge, kitchen space and an ice vending machine with plenty of capacity to fill your cooler for those hot hiking days in the area. Situated next to the Main Street of Tropic, but that never bothered us as there isn’t much activity come darkness Operated by a local gives a few extra points in my book as it gives the option to support the local community.
This was a super clean small motel with a lot of nice touches. We had a nice sitting area next to the motel and a keurig with our favorite coffee in the room. Rooms appeared to be freshly renovated. Great experience. If you ever go to Bryce Canyon we can recommend this place.
The hotel is old but has been kept up very nicely. Our bathroom look fairly new and clean. The room was very clean also. The owner must come between the hours of 3-7 pm for check in. I would stay at this hotel again. It came with a large screen tv and had Netflix also. Tropic is small but we found everyone to be very nice
Had a change in plans and thought I was in trouble to stop at Bryce Canyon. I found this small hotel. They were very friendly and easy to work with. They solved my problem. A few decent restaurants close by
Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Very decent size fridge plus microwave made a trip during Covid much easier. Free Netflix was a welcome surprise. Comfy bed. Note that a silent heater they don't label is in the room along with the noisy obvious one. No masks on staff but you don't have to interact with them.
This little motel (6 rooms) is right on the main street of Tropic, Utah - about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. The room was small but very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well.
We stayed at Bybees for two nights while we visited Bryce Canyon and could not have asked for a better stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a small fridge. Check in and out was very easy. As other reviews have stated the office is open for a short period of time during the day. There’s a red phone on the side of the building that connects you to the owners 24/7 in case you need anything. If you are not able to check in the office is open, no worries, they have a very easy after hours check in system. One thing to keep in mind is that Tropic is a small town and everything closes at 9pm.
Small motel with close proximity to Bryce Canyon. Room was clean and everyone was nice. Close to several restaurants. Breakfast in the room with oatmeal and/or granola bars. Good television and internet worked well. I would gladly stay here again.
Stayed at bybees. We were pleased with the accommodations. Has microwave in the unit. Clean and relaxing unit. A few restaurants in the area as well as a grocery store and gas station. Close to.moddy cave Highly recommended.
Great room at a fair price. Clean, friendly staff, nice outside sitting area. Convenient location to restaurants and Bryce Canyon. Keurig coffee maker, instant oatmeal and granola in the room for breakfast was enough to get the day started. Microwave and refrigerator.
