We stayed at this mountain ski resort/wildlife preserve/art & film colony in the fall for a workshop. The cabins and rooms were all rustic western with log beams, fireplaces, ironwork and lots of stone - very peacefully tucked within the woods and across the hillsides. The leaves were turning red and gold so every vista was breath-taking! The three eating... More

We were delighted to read your descriptive review of Sundance Resort. Taking a scenic lift ride is a wonderful way to see the changing colors of the leaves and explore the mountain landscape while enjoying the crisp cool air. We hope that you will allow us the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon. More

This was our first visit to Sundance Resort, and certainly one for the memories. We attended a wedding weekend, where catering really excelled in all respects. The food was delicious! We had a detached cabin, good size, cozy bed with full kitchen. Although there's only one sink, making it tight, and the shower head is hardly top notch (probably to... More

About an hour from Salt Lake City and through a winding canyon is Sundance Resort, legendary for Redford, mountains and movies. The property has charm, views and a good kitchen. Rooms are up the hill with balconies and privacy, elegantly furnished and quiet. One can meander by foot, curl up and read, pick up gourmet deli food, let the young,... More

Sundance Resort is located in the mountains just north of Provo, Utah. It gained it's notoriety due to Robert Redford. It is not over-developed like some resorts, but remains a peaceful place where you can simply take a walk, hike, ski in the winter, or stay at the resort. There are many different accommodations to choose from . . .... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in June for a conference. Let me first be clear that I am not a camper and I hate rustic. But this was the closest thing to camping that I’ll ever be happy with. The whole resort is something to behold. It is set up to resemble a mining camp. I was a bit... More

Even in the off season, this resort is fantastic! The cabin we were lucky to get was a stand alone and was very comfortable. The bed is a work of art and the patio looks down into a forest with a cute little river. Oh, the sound of the pine trees with wind passing through them at night is soooo... More

Sundance is a magical place. The food is excellent. The bar is great. We had conferences there, with some skiing in between. Skiing is very good - it's a small resort, of course, but great for a day (I'm a red/black downhill skier, usually in Austria or Italy). The snow was great when I was there. Yes, I have been... Our 3 night stay at the end of May at the Sundance Resort was wonderful! We had two rooms. One was a mountain loft- unit 29A which has an awesome view, comfy furniture, cute décor, and a fancy, well stocked, full-size kitchen with all the necessary utensils, pots/pants, salt/paper, paper towels, dish soap, sponge, and dish washer liquid. All in all Sundance Resort was great! It was not what I expected; a resort in the middle of lots of trees with hardly anything around it.
