we had an overnight stay on St Georges during our roundtrip, and we found this small motel.. It is an older motel, but comfortable - comfy bed, clean bathrooms with hood hot water (what we needed the most :) ). Although outside it was cold, in the room was really comfortable warm. The room is well-equipped (fridge, microwave, cofeemachine..). It is on the main street, so lots of restaurants and shops around. It was a perfect place for a stop.

My husband had a wedding in Vegas the next morning and didn’t want to pay Vegas hotels’ big prices so we looked in St. George since it isn’t too far and with the time change we made it on time without a problem! The hotel owner/manager was very kind and we arrived pretty late at night and she was still up and willing to help! She gave us our key, WiFi and breakfast information, she was extremely helpful! It’s an older motel so it kind of smells like grandma’s house but it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The shower was warm and clean, everything worked! We slept great! The bed was comfortable and also very clean! (Can you tell cleanliness is important to me?) Best thing about that cute motel? It was on St. George Blvd., across the street from Iceberg, a five minute drive to the Shoppes of Zion and Red Cliffs Mall, and down the road from the LDS temple and historic museums and visitor’s center... it was just a great location we are planning on going again for a weekend away!

We spent two nights at this motel. The bed was comfy, the TV and desk area were good. It went downhill from there. There is no ice machine or breakfast. Checkout is at 10:30, but on Sunday the office doesn't even open until noon. On the other days they don't open until 9. The hairdryer kept overheating and shutting off, but I couldn't get anyone to help me since it was before 9. The pillows and blanket smelled so badly of bedhead and body odor that we had to go purchase a blanket and pillows so we could sleep the second night. The shower was originally tiled, but instead of tearing out the old stuff and remodeling the right way, they have painted over the tile and caulked some crappy plastic over it. We felt like the owners were more interested in saving a buck instead of running a nice motel. It could be a much nicer place if they would wash the blankets, replace the pillows, and update the bathroom. The lady wasn't very nice. She said we better not lose the room key because if we had to call her she might not be nice depending on the time of day. Whaaaat?!

Old style motel, but clean and tidy. The bed comfortable, just a little bouncy. The room had a decent size fridge and freezer. Good size TV. Had microwave – which we used to heat our dinner. No safe in room. ? Ice - did not see an ice machine Location handy to shops eateries etc also awesome view of city and mountains only a 5 min drive up the hill to Pioneer Park. Bathroom- the only downside to our stay– the toilet area was smaller than a United airlines economy seat – wall to wall only being less than 2 foot wide! The shower cubicle was better, but still very tight. Hot water etc was fine though. So not the best choice for those of solid build. No exhaust fan in bathroom area – had to block window open with a block of soap. Air con was an in wall mount type so noise level was typical of that style. Plenty of off street parking was available. Internet worked ok, but not brilliant. Next morning, found coffee pot had not been cleaned since last visitor – had a used coffee bag and residue in the bowl-cleaner needs to be more careful checking room. Location was quite for sleeping.

It is an older motel. The room was nice. The bathroom was adequate. It was clean. The best thing of all was the location, within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and points of interest. Definitely recommend for a short budget stay. Close to Zion National Park and beautiful country.
