Mulberry Inn is an absolute gem. Family run by Peggy and her daughter Taylor, who both were welcoming and so, so nice! Each room was both unique and gorgeous (we got a tour of the house). The furniture dated back to the late 1800s/early 1900s, great condition, clean, which made us feel like we were stepping back in time rather than simply living in an old house. Breakfast was served every morning in a beautiful dining room with fresh orchids on every table. There was a new breakfast menu to choose from every morning....Italian coffee, eggs, French toast and berries, smoothies, biscuits and gravy....under Peggy’s expert care, every morning felt like getting breakfast made by your favorite aunt. This place is perfect for a weekend romantic retreat, although it’s close proximity to Zion, Pink Sands Park, and Snow Canyon made it a great jumping off point. Nothing like coming home to plush towels and homey room after a long day of hiking. Plenty of delicious restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner (we recommend the Painted Pony). Head and shoulders above the other hotels in the area, you get much, much more than what you pay for at this joint. And when we left, Peggy packed us homemade zucchini bread to go. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer...

My wife and I just returned home from a week-long trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Zion. We finished our journey with two nights at this beautifully maintained and thoughtfully furnished historic home in the center of the historic district of St George, Utah. We loved it. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the furnishings all thoughtfully hearken to earlier and simpler times, that is was refreshing just to be in that space. The treelined streets just out the door are beautiful, particularly in the autumn, and the in is very close to fine restaurants and the old downtown. We talked a lot with the owner, Peggy, who was very generous with her time and really educated us about life in this part of the world. We hope to return before too long.

A well maintained and nicely furnished B&B in the heart of downtown St. George. I stayed in the second floor Josephine room which had decor reflecting Jo in the novel Little Women. It was a good sized room with a wonderful, but tiny balcony reached through French Doors, that overlooked the front lawn & garden. A nice size wardrobe, dresser, plumbed water basin stand, and a settee at end of bed were all well situated for easy use. A very small en-suite bath contained a claw foot tub with shower.
An excellent catered breakfast was served in the main floor dining room. In addition to the nice ambience of the B&B the lovely neighborhood is within a few minutes walk of many fine restaurants .
The only caveat for seasoned & honeymoon B& B guests is the house rule “no alcohol allowed in public areas,” which includes the large front porch.

Thank you for staying with us. I should clarify that we don't allow red wine on the premises due to the antiques(including rugs and wood floors). We do allow alcohol in rooms and balconies/porches. We just can't set up a bar like atmosphere on front/main porch due to state alcohol regulations. I'm sorry this was conveyed incorrectly. I hope you still enjoyed the stay and hope to have you back again.

My husband and I had a weekend getaway at the Mulberry Inn. It’s a historic building that’s been a B&B for many years. I appreciated the history of the origin of the home that was provided in a pamphlet in our room, as well as other historical facts throughout the house. I love learning the history of a place.
The Mulberry Inn is located close to many downtown restaurants and amenities, within walking distance if you so choose. Our room was cozy and very comfortable with a large wraparound balcony where we could eat our breakfast. Our room was very clean and the owners accommodating to our requests. It was a relaxing and inviting experience staying at this charming bed and breakfast.

My daughter and I stayed one night on our way to dropping her at her first year of college. The location was easy to find and Peggy (owner, operator) was very welcoming and helpful. There are plenty of places within walking distance for eating and it was easy to jump back on the road the next morning. The furnishings are true to the period of the house and it felt a little like stepping back in time (but with modern amenities!). We absolutely loved it!

My husband and I don't usually stay in B&B's but when researching our stay in St. George this one looked interesting. We made the right decision! The owner, Peggy, greeted us on our arrival and took the time to give us a tour of the inn. She shared details on the history of the home, its furnishings and recent renovations and it was fascinating. The thick adobe brick walls made our room incredibly quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. We had the Alice room which gave us an upstairs balcony. The Inn is located downtown and many good restaurants are within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here! Peggy was friendly and welcoming and provided excellent accommodations!

I stayed in the Sherlock Suite which was a great loft type room on the third floor. There are many details on the stairs up and in the room that create a vivid ambiance and provide clues to the rooms theme and history.

In addition to the intriguing room we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. The menu had many choices (I had the omelet and orange juice). We had it delivered to the room so we could enjoy breakfast in bed :).

Finally, the location of The Mulberry Inn is fantastic. It is in the heart of St George's Arts District and we walked to Ancestor Square to see several Art Galleries and then too Green gate Village to have a great Italian dinner at Alfredo's. We also enjoyed a morning walk around the historic district and saw the Opera House, Tabernacle and several historic homes.

Overall a great experience and we will be back.

My wife and I wanted to get away for the weekend and decided to stay at the Mulberry Inn. We enjoyed our stay there immensely. It is historically classic with all of the modern amenities you could want. The staff make you feel like you are at home, while giving you the privacy you need to enjoy your vacation. We stayed in the Josephine room which had its own little balcony we could sit on and enjoy the fresh air. The breakfast selection and food were wonderful. The Mulberry was close enough to downtown St George that we could walk to shopping and restaurants. Loved our stay here and will look forward to our next stay in St George as we now have a favorite place to stay!

We stayed in the Fogg suite and loved it! Our kids loved it too. It was quaint and charming of course but there were so many fun little details. The themes to the rooms are famous literary characters. Vintage decor was based around travel in our room. We had a jetted tub inside an antique car! So cool!! We had access to the front and back patios. You could choose to people watch or sit where there was more privacy. We walked over to ancester square for dinner. Several good choices there. Breakfast was incredible with many options. There was a small separate sleeping area with a twin bed included in our suite plus a futon. The main bed was very comfortable. Even though the location is middle of town it was quiet at night and I slept great! Clean cozy and very fun. A memorable stay for sure!!

The mulberry inn exceeded our expectations! The food and service was exceptional! Peggy the owner, visited with the guests at breakfast which made it more homey and personal. We stayed in the Sherlock suite on the third floor. If you are a person who cant climb stairs, not the room for you. But we loved it, was quiet and secluded. The only suggestion we have is to put a grab bar on the molding around the door by the soap shelf. There is a claw foot tub that is a bit tricky to get into but not much to grab onto while getting in.
We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to St. George.
