We recently stopped for an over night stay in route to a weekly stay in Park City. What a wonderful experience. Carla greeted us as members of her family. She shared the history of the B&B and walked us through the garden. After a wonderful breakfast, she shared fresh apricots from the tree in the garden which we enjoyed on... More

This is the first B&B that we have experienced, And the second time that we have stayed with Carla. Everything is just like it is depicted on the website. Not only is the decor of the rooms charming, they are also comfortable; bed, too. Makes me feel like I am at home. I'm a stickler for cleanliness and this place... More

Carla is a wonderful lady and her B&B is the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms and house are charming, it is just a short walk away from the downtown and historic part of St. George and her breakfasts are absolutely amazing. I just wish she would publish a cookbook with her recipes 😊.

We were warmly welcomed by Carla on a Friday afternoon. After an evening of hiking, a tub to soak in and a comfortable bed were much appreciated. We awoke and enjoyed the most incredible breakfast. Carla's good cheer and this wonderful home make the perfect pair. We thoroughly appreciated our room, the amazing food, the garden area, and most of... More

Carla is a wonderful hostess! My husband and I has the opportunity to visit her cute bed and breakfast for our Honeymoon, and we were not disappointed in the least! My husband has had a hip replacement and so the tubs in the rooms were very difficult for him to use, because all of the rooms have tubs and not... More

Carla Fox definitely knows how to run a bed and breakfast. She is a charming hostess and a wonderful cook. Her b and b is a short distance from downtown St. George where there are some nice eateries and some interesting shops. Carla told me that the room I stayed in housed the first indoor bathroom built in St. George.... More

We really enjoyed our three nights at the Quicksand and Cactus. Carla is a very gracious host and a terrific cook. The bed was super comfortable. The house is centrally located in the artsy downtown area, and close to gorgeous red cliffs and petroglyphs. There's an outdoor community cat named Vinnie who is about as close to a dog as... More

after a warm welcome from Carla and the community cat, a good nights sleep and a delicious breakfast on a sunny Sunday morning - I really, really did not want to leave. Thank you Carla for a very special stay! Definitely a memory I will take back home to Germany

Where to start?? Our room was comfortable, so clean and with a bed that invited sound sleep on the quiet neighborhood street within easy walking for downtown historic St George, UT. What we thought might be an inconvenience, to have a large old-fashioned tub, turned out to be a luxurious, relaxing beginning to each day as we slowed down to... More

We had a lovely stay in this historic home with peaceful gardens, private entrances, clawfoot tubs and AMAZING breakfast feasts cooked by our host Carla. There were 3 couples in our party so we filled all of Carla's guest rooms. We stayed for 5 nights in St. George and saw all 3 of the productions at Tuacahn. The shopping and... More
