We were invited by family to see this new place with much anticipation. Went for dinner early in the evening and were very underwhelmed. Who would have thought we needed reservations when the dining room had only two or three parties, at most, seated there. Our foursome waited at the small tapas tables for nearly 45-mins for the food we ordered. During that time we had four different servers, and each one seemed confused about what was ordered and by whom. We had to request utensils, water and ice, napkins, and even salt and pepper. Meal was overpriced and not exceptional nor savory. The Lobby furnishings were incomprehensible, uncomfortable and weird -- a mishmash of themes and hippiedom with a splash that missed its mark in taste and textures. Perhaps they were going for the avant-garde. After the meal we requested to see rooms and have short intro tour to the property. Hallways, rooms and interior decor were retro to the 1930s or something nearer to grandma's attic? Unattractive "trend" to our sensibilities, and certainly not warm and welcoming as we had hoped. Being accustomed to fine world brands in our travels, staying at several Autograph properties, this seemed more of a misadventure-Advenire. No adequate parking. We could not really discern what this property was trying to evoke with the brand's audience. Perhaps newcomers or those in the 30-something crowd will find this hotel a novelty and relish their experience. Sadly, for us it was a let-down and we will not be repeat customers nor recommend.

This hotel is the first of its kind in St. George. They have only been open 5 days. Perfect location right downtown across from Ancestor Square. The room was perfect, you do have to put your room key in to have the lights work, great way to be green, and really helps when you leave the room to remember to grab it. Valet is a must unless you want to park down the street and walk a couple of blocks. Little boutique shops and restaurants surround the hotel area. The restaurant was fantastic, W.A.R. So good, be sure to make a reservation. Tapas style so everyone can share. Bar was really nice too. Rooftop patio has a hot tub which was nice. There is no pool which didn’t bother me. Highly recommend for couples to getaway from the stress of normal life. Amazing hotel. Amazing Staff. Amazing location. Marriott always does it right!
