Clean. Spacious rooms. Pet friendly. Good location. Pool. fitness center, ( 2nd floor across from room 214, 215, 216) pool, GREAT breakfast! ( yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereal, waffles, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, link sausage, bacon, toast waffles muffins, fruit salad, oranges, apples, juice)
Definitely recommend this hotel.
Rooms on east side are quieter than rooms on west side that face the highway.
Recommendations: #1-in the fitness center , there is a sign that says, ‘please wipe down machines after use’ but no wipes are provided. Also a place for used towels, but no towels provided. Also 2 water dispensers, but neither one worked. Take your water bottle!
#2- go greener by not replacing bedding and towels when staying multiple nights in same room. :-)

The hotel is conveniently located off I-15, but it was very quiet in the rooms. They are very safety conscious allowing us to keep the pens we used when we signed in and wiping down the dollies after we took our luggage to our rooms. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and modern looking with a small refrigerator and microwave. The served breakfast- choice of scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and small waffles along with dry cereal, yogurt, juices, and coffee. It’s like a buffet only they serve you behind a plexiglass shielded counter. They box it for you to take to your room, and they have an outdoor area for eating. We enjoyed our stay and would make it a point to stay there again during our next visit.

Super clean rooms! Professional and friendly front desk agents. The breakfast was good and excellent coffee. They hotel as taken every effort to keep all areas clean and sanitized in response to the Covid pandemic. This is the first hotel we have seen that has taken the step to wrap the tv remotes in plastic bags for use. Thank you for the exceptional diligence in the sanitation and cleanliness of the rooms and hotel. We will only stay here from now on.

The location is easy access from the freeway but far enough away from any noise. There are places to get food and a large Walmart across the street. Staff was very nice. We had booked a Jr. Suite but were offered an upgrade for $25.00 per night for the Executive Suite on the third floor. Separate living room and bar area and a large bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower. Loads of towels and bathrobes. The downside to the beautiful bathroom is that it is cold - very cold, with no way to heat it up. The bed had only a huge comforter that weighed a ton. There were no additional blankets to switch it out with so you roasted or slept with only a sheet on. Nice touches such as a make up mirror and balcony with a sliding door. At check-out there was a mix up on charges for the room but I am confident that it will be rectified shortly.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. I like the location as it’s easy access to the freeway, but it’s also a quiet area, plenty of parking and the hotel itself is clean and I feel safe. We had issues for about 3 of our 5 day stay with our room keys. We had to keep going to the front desk to get them recoded. The shower curtain in room 211 stinks, it needs to be cleaned/changed out. Housekeeping removed used towels but never replaced with new towels. We ran out of TP, had to go to the front desk to ask for more because housekeeping didn’t replace.

The Wingate by Wyndham was the perfect place for us to spend our one night getaway in Saint George. Our King room was very big, much more spacious that we expected, with a large living space and separate bedroom area. The rooms were clean and updated. There were two air conditioning units and they definitely kept the rooms cool. The pool was nice. Breakfast was included and served by the staff to maintain social distancing... we unfortunately missed it, as it stopped at 9, and with the hour time change from Las Vegas, we were late. While it was listed on the sheet we were provided at check in, I’d suggest a verbal reminder about the time it ends. It is located close to the freeway and a quick 5-10 minute drive to downtown or Dixie State. We will definitely stay here again.

This seemingly brand new hotel is convienently positioned right off of the highway next to a Wal Mart and plenty of dining options within walking distance. The staff is professional and proactive. The competitive pricing builds overwhelming value in the stay. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the valley.

We were overcharged on the 3rd night of our stay supposedly because they didn't believe my husband's registered service dog was a service dog. The pool was not working the first 2 days we were there and had very limited hours. Bathroom and shower was poor quality and the room was smaller than most with no view. We were hassled every time the dog barked because the hallway and lobby area they put us next to was very noisy. One evening there was a loud explosion that shook the floor and no explanation from the desk staff. I've stayed at lower class hotels that were better than this one and well worth the money in comparison.

Dear Icroleo1, Speaking on behalf of the entire “3 Time Award Winning” Wingate by Wyndham team, please allow me to express our appreciation for the time you took to respond on TripAdvisor. Your opinion is truly important to us and we really do appreciate it! I know you did have a few issues especially with the price of the room but I'm almost positive you enjoyed our awesome breakfast in the morning as well as all of the other amazing amenities our beautiful hotel has to offer. Also when booking on a third party site please make sure not to book a handicapped room if you are looking for a larger room, with handicapped rooms we focus more on the size of the bathroom rather then the actual size of the room so my apologies on that. Yours in Hospitality, Tim James | General Manager

For the price of the rooms it's just unfathomable that there is not free bottles of water in the room, regular plastic drinking cups, and more than one coffee pod. There's just 4 short insulated coffee cups, but yet only 1, I mean literally just ONE coffee pod! Also, no TV channel line-up card. You certainly can afford to provide these minor amenities when you charge $250 a night!!!! Unbelievable!

I was not paid to write my "Excellent" rating and given the high number reviews and direct emails past guests, such as myself, received as a result of your posted question, I'm sure others will also attest to and stand by their review.
Whether traveling with a service dog, emotional support dog or fur-kid, I found Wingate to be accommodating and their pet fee to be very reasonable.
The unavailability and/or reduction in hours for the pool should be expected during a global pandemic. #firstworldproblems
I too travel with my dog so typically one can anticipate pet-friendly rooms to be on the first floor, closest to the lobby and/or other exits. While these rooms can be a bit noisier due to their location, the ADA does require service animals be under the control of the handler at all times. I’m sure other guests appreciated the hotel’s responsiveness to your dog's barking. A muzzle is useful to help maintain control while traveling in unfamiliar environments.
Thank you for your question. Don't know really. We took our car to Zion but I would pose this question to the concierge at the Wingate. He will help you out.
Enjoy.
Yes hotel has a free shuttle service! Just ask for details at the Front desk.
It is not pet friendly. They lie and let you believe that it is until you check out and they charge you $50 because your service dog barked a few times at the loud noises in the hallways and hearing every door slam shut from your room. There are better motels that are much more pet friendly and respectful to service dogs.
The guy at the desk actually told me "service dogs don't bark!" when I called to complain about the charges I didn't authorize.
I did not need a printed copy. In fact, I had made my reservation about a half hour before I showed up and they were able to find me in the system with no problem. Just need identification.
