I have stayed at a few Residence Inns before and they were better than this one. The upside about this hotel is it's close to BYU and University Parkway. The staff was friendly and prompt. The room was clean and the bed was perfect. The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and was delicious. There was a nice fitness center and sport court. The downside to this hotel was I could hear everything the man above me did from sneezing to his phone vibrating (he missed a few calls). The walls were very thin. When housekeeping was getting in the closet next to my room I could hear what they were doing. My bathroom looked old and out dated. There were several repairs done to tub and shower that stood out. Also there were holes in the carpet and pull out couch. This was surprising to me coming from a Marriott. I would stay here again just ask for a room on the top floor.

We 're sorry to hear of the less than favorable experience you encountered while staying with us. This certainly not standard for our hotel and these concerns are being addressed immediately. We do hope that you will give us another try in the near future.

Great hotel. Clean rooms, layout fantastic, everything in great and working order bbq pits, tennis court, basketball court, pool, hammock, close to walking trail, etc. Close to restaurants and grocery store. Customer service was beyond fantastic! The breakfast was kept full and lots of choices. Just wish they had a hot tub. Stopped here on our way to our family reunion and decided to stop here again on our way home.

Thank you for your kind words and accolades regarding your stay with us. We are the only hotel in Utah County that has a beautiful backyard like ours. We take so much pride in it and love to hear that our guests are enjoying it. The newest edition is a hammock and we now have our Tuesday evening BBQ's out there as well. We look forward to your return. Safe travels!

Can’t complain, good stay for a few days. Conveniently located next to Walmart & Provo’s finest Italian Restaurant, Olive Garden. Hotel may need a few refreshment but overall good stay & awesome staff

There are both pluses and minuses regarding this hotel. It could really use some updating. There is no covered area for your car during registration and no automatic doors that open to the lobby. We found this quite puzzling. The lobby is extremely small with only one person at the front desk. The hotel itself is in two pieces which makes navigating it confusing. That being said, there is a nice grassy back area for lounging or dog walking (the hotel is pet-friendly) and it connects to a nice "riverwalk" which was great for morning exercise both for us and our pups. The area it is in is a nice one and there are lots of places to eat nearby. I just don't think the hotel overall is up to Marriott's current standards for Residence Inns.

We're sorry to hear of your less than favorable experience while staying with us. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our location and our backyard. We are fortunate to have the Provo River Trail directly behind our hotel and many of our guests frequently walk, run or bike the pathway. I'm sorry we didn't have a portecochere at our hotel for your needs. We do in fact have automatic doors to our main entrance and they are functioning properly. We do hope that you will give us another try in the near future. Safe travels!

I love the Residence Inn and always try to choose a Marriott. But this one was not up to standard. Although it was very clean and well-maintained, the suite was too small-- especially for the poorly chosen, bulky furniture which made it very hard to squeeze between the bed and the too-big dresser. There was minimal counter space anywhere -- a huge microwave, which should have been wall-mounted, took up one whole section of kitchen counter, and the 2 TV's were bolted to the center of the dressers so no space could be used there to set things down. The kitchen lacked the basics such as a sponge, dish detergent etc. We felt very squeezed-in and unable to move in the suite. It was hard even to find a place to open one's suitcase. Overall we felt that the place had been very poorly designed, and set up and furnished in a very thoughtless and inefficient way.
