This is the cutest bed and breakfast in Logan! We love the old rock church. The owners are so kind and helpful. We had to switch our reservations and they were so understanding about it. We love coming and staying here. We also love the breakfast. Just overall great service-- we highly recommend staying here when coming into town.
The good, the bad, and the ugly: First the good. It looks like most of the rooms have been remodeled or refreshed. The room was super cute with a great jetted tub (we had the rose garden room). The raspberry French toast for breakfast was to die for!! Now for the bad. The sleep number bed was terrible!! Simply an overrated air mattress. We both woke up with terrible back aches. Now for the ugly: we have been staying here off and on for 18 years or so, and probably won't be back unless they change the beds out!
I recently attended my niece's wedding at this facility and was very disappointed. On the outside, the building is gorgeous, but inside it's old, run down, and dirty. We were told the kitchen had full services, but the oven and microwave (both of which we were assured were available and we depended on) were out of service. Every square inch of carpet, which was once luxurious, is in desperate need of replacement. Paint is needed everywhere. The floors weren't vacuumed (and hadn't been for some time). The hall the bride would walk through before descending the stairs was covered in sheetrock mud and dust from recent ceiling repairs. I vacuumed the facility before the wedding. With reinvestment, this place would be breathtaking - but as it is, everything about it screams the owners are milking it dry. If you're going to use this facility, review it with a fine-toothed comb before signing any paperwork.…
We spent a weekday night during the pandemic. The entire hotel was very quiet and clean. Large spacious bed, complete with sleep number system in the Cape Cod room. Couldn't hear other guests. Very large room, with a giant jetted tub. Breakfast can be brought to the room, and was surprisingly good. Would absolutely stay again.
This was an amazing place for our son's wedding. The events room is not large, but big enough. The staff was super nice, the kitchen and prep area is spacious. It has large trees, lawn, rock structures for amazing pictures. The building it's self is old (my wife's grandmother used to attend church there back in the early 1930s and she said it was old then 🙂 Overall, it is an amazing venue.
We recently spent two nights here to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed here many years ago and enjoyed it and wanted to return. We stayed mid-week and it was very quiet, we mostly had the place to ourselves. Check-in was quick and easy. We stayed on the 3rd floor and our room was clean, quiet and very relaxing. It included a jetted tub, which was very nice. The B&B is located in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed walking around part of the town. Breakfast was wonderful, we enjoyed it both mornings. We chose to eat in the dining room, but they also offer room service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided us with a 20% discount card to use at local restaurants. The price was reasonable, for a special occasion, and we'd gladly stay again.
We stayed one night to celebrate our anniversary and stayed in the New Orleans room. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. Everything worked well--including jetted tub, television, sleep number bed. We loved the atmosphere and hospitality of the staff. We stayed on a Monday evening, so there weren't many guests, but we enjoyed the quiet and exploring and learning about the history of the building. Our breakfast was also delicious, made to order and enjoyed in our room. We would love to come again--highly recommend.
The floor we were put on was under a huge reconstruction. The hallway on the third floor was bare wood echoing loud steps. Bright work lights and plastic drop cloths were every where. My room was so overpowering with paint smell I had to move to another room. The stairs were blocked eliminating an emergency exit. The owner should not have booked rooms on that floor at full price. Greedy!!
The wedding venue was very beautiful. The rooms were so unique and beautiful loved the jacuzzi tubs in the rooms. The staff was very pleasant and easy to work with. Breakfast was so delicious and thank you for bringing to my room that was wonderful. The history on the church is very interesting I like this place a lot it is so pretty!
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and anniversary and we are always treated so well by the staff. Both times we have stayed through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and we worry about taking the owner away from his family, but he has treated us just like good friends and taken care of all of our needs. The Bridal Suite is so nice and comfortable. We love the discount card for restaurants in Logan too!
