The first visit? 5 stars! The second visit - well, maybe 4 stars. Why the slippage you ask? Certainly the staff is consistently superior than any hotel staff ever (we love them), and the breakfast surpasses anyone's expectations. But the room....shower heads dysfunctional, visible light bulbs mismatched, soap dish tilting toward the floor, edges of the room left un-vacuumed -...

I've stayed at nearly all the top hotel chains--Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin, Peninsula, etc. and Washington School House took customer service to an entirely new level. The staff are always available, extremely attentive, very friendly, and bend over backwards to accommodate you. It's a very intimate experience. Kids and I (3 total) stayed in a King w/loft on the...

I am a raving fan! The Washington School House is a great facility that is brought to life by a remarkable staff. Yes, the location is the perfect Park City location, only a few steps to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants, but it is the whole experience that spoils their guests. Every staff member is gracious, warm...

We received the warmest welcome on our first stay at the Washington School House. We pulled up on a cold, snowy afternoon and were greeted at the curb by three super friendly employees and the warm hospitality continued throughout our short stay. The hotel is quaint and beautiful with a nice blend of antiques and warm, understated mountain decor that...

Located on Park Ave., just one street off Main Street, easy walking to restaurants and shopping. The hotel operates 2 SUVs devoted to dropping off and picking up guests at the Park City Town Lift, or Deer Valley Silver Lake lifts. They can also drive higher up the mountain or over the Canyons if you wish to ski there. Spoiled...

I travel A LOT, in the past year alone I've stayed at everything from Hostels in Europe to 5 Star Chain Hotels, to Boutique Hotels and everything in between. As luxury accommodations go, I haven't stayed at any other accommodation that does it better. Service is exceptional. At the price point, it's not the kind of place you want to...

This is my second stay in the Washington School House. I visited several years ago and loved it. The decor in the rooms and public areas is beautifully simple with luxe details in the style of decorator Darryl Carter. Each room is different, and the hotel is small, leading to an intimate feeling. Breakfast and apres ski snacks / drinks...

I have rarely stayed somewhere that was geared to each individual guest so completely. The first night we were there, my partner loved the chocolate covered strawberries left in our room with our turn down service. The next afternoon, upon our return from strolling around Park City, nothing chocolate was on the afternoon treats tray. One of the many attentive...

This was my first trip to Park City and I came with my best friend to celebrate her birthday. Never having stayed anywhere else in Park City, I can confidently say that this is the best place to stay in town. The experience was spectacular from start to finish. The staff was beyond courteous. They made you feel as if...
