I saw the review that compared this hotel to Wal Mart and just had to jump in. I've stayed there twice and the second time it definitely felt more institutional than under the previous owners but not Wal Mart or Holiday Inn. Park City is a great ski resort but the lodging is lacking so Imperial House is probably one...

We stayed for three nights in late February. The B&B IS conveniently located, but that's the most we can say. The common areas smelled terrible and very poorly decorated (think Wal-mart.) The inn staff were friendly and tried hard, but they didn't think about simple things like water glasses in rooms or sweetener for coffee at breakfast. Meals were very...

We went in the off-season at the end of April. Overall the place is charming with antique furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. We stayed in the bluebird room on the third floor.
