We are owners and come every year. Some years are better then others. We were really fortunate to not have missed a year due to Covid. We came in February 2020. Probably one of the best years in terms of customer service and having amenities open. February 2021 wasn’t as great with the hot tub, lobby, and game room being closed. I feel like they closed the lobby and game room due to Covid as opposed to needing a remodel. Because let’s face it. The rooms need more remodeling than the lobby. We would gladly spend more to have the rooms remodeled. The other downer is the huge resort being built across the street which eliminated the ski in access. But what can you do about that. The location is still the biggest selling point. It is really all about the location. We had to move units this year for our last night. The front desk was really evasive about it. They finally figured it out...the unit had been vacant for days...but communication was a bit of a struggle this year. That being said I give them a pass and kudos for staying open and giving us our first vacation in a year. It was long overdue and we appreciated the efforts of the staff to keep us safe and staying open. Hallelujah!! See you next year!!…
Booked through VRBO and owner never responded to provide property location or check-in information after repeated messages and phone calls. They then refused to issue a refund because we were a no-show. Management is shady and I'd recommend staying far away from this place.
First impression is the helpful, friendly staff. I requested early check in and was told to come right over. I had booked one week through timeshare exchange, and added an extra night through direct booking. They caught it and made sure that I was in a unit where I would not be asked to move for the last night. After we left, we realized that we had left a small piece of a charger and called. Rainier, the manager, was at the front desk. He called back within 10 minutes saying that they found it and had it at the front desk. The unit itself is very spacious with a cozy ambiance. The common area has an apartment size kitchen, dining table seating area, tv, fireplace, dresser, full bath and very comfortable, firm Murphy bed. There is a door between the common room and the bedroom. The bedroom contains a desk, overstuffed chair, dresser, TV, two very comfortable queen beds and a larger full bath with separate sink. During COVID-19, the hot tub, sauna, and game room are closed and there are no resort activities. However, the pool is open and comfortably warm. Quite heavenly actually. The lack of top score is because the property is older and undergoing renovation. In the rooms, it means that the stove is one of the older electric coil models and the radiator heat has been replaced with ductless wall units. In the bigger picture, it means inconveniences during construction. We had no hot water for two days, no cable TV for two days, and spotty internet throughout the week. We have a hotspot, so we had a workaround for internet, as cell service is very good at this location. Staff offered us to move to a different building that was on a different boiler, but we chose not to move because we had groceries, lots of luggage etc. We were offered a key to go to another room to shower since we didn't want to move, which was amenable to us. I liked the staff's willingness to problem solve. At check out, Rainier agreed to waive the resort fees for our entire stay ($18/day) when I only asked for two days charges to be removed. Very guest oriented. It will be top scores when the renovation is complete.…
We went on a quick get away for the weekend. We chose Sweetwater because it was a two bedroom condo with queen beds and a kitchen. It was a little dated but it was very clean and comfortable. We were close to the main ski lifts and a few minutes from historic Main Street. It was only 10 minutes from the outlet mall and a great view of the mountains. Parking was free and easy access especially for Park City.
Our family enjoyed the convenient location of Sweetwater Lift Lodge between the Park City Mountain Resort and several blocks away from Main Street (Park City). Our visit to Park City was in mid-October and our family enjoyed the beautiful cool Fall Weather with outdoor activities such as hiking and MTB riding. The front desk had been relocated to the basement as the original front desk was under remodeling. We appreciated the precautions the lodge had taken to keep employees and guests safe during this unfortunate Covid-19 environment we all have been forced to live with. We will definitely back to back to visit again in the future.
