Located in Canyons Village with access to world-class skiing, lies Silverado Lodge, a luxurious retreat, masterfully designed for the most discriminating of tastes. Cozy fireplaces, vaulted ceilings and oversized decks grace many of the suites. This exceptional property offers guest room accommodations including individual hotel rooms, studios and 1-3 bedroom suites. This truly is a Park City gem offering timeless elegance and quality amenities in a premium location near Canyons Village. *NOTICE: Silverado is undergoing an improvement to common areas & hallways! You’ll likely notice a more ‘industrial’ look temporarily in some hallways with exposed ceilings & some equipment stored in the garage. Rest assured, although you may see these items and possibly contractors around the building, the major construction work is paused and will resume after ski season. Any touch-up work that may happen over the next couple of months will not be intrusive and will be completed during the workday

Not a bad property but location is poor as shuttle does not take you all the way up to the gondola pr ski lifts, you are left with a short walk from the shuttle bus stop up a couple of flights of stairs. Not a big deal but in the snow with kids, skis etc. bit of a hassle. If you arrive late check in is in the Grand Summit which is again up the hill and no one told us that. Rooms were very clean with maid service once per weeklong stay which was fine. Staff very friendly, we checked out early and skied the day and they directed us to a large luggage storage area and fitness center change room afterwards. No food or drink available, you have to go up to the main village so recommend getting groceries for the room. Overall clean and safe but not good value for money given location.

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed at the Silverado Lodge in a two bedroom unit. We were very satisfied with our unit!
Great kitchen with pots, pans, toaster, dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee and coffee maker so we could make breakfast every morning before our day of skiing.
We usually took the Silverado’s shuttle to Canyons Village in the morning (we left our rented skis at Aloha rental each night). We skied only the Canyons—-beautiful place to ski. We usually walked back to Silverado Lodge after dropping our skis off for the night. It’s not a bad walk but you wouldn’t want to do it in ski boots!
Upon our return from skiing, we headed to the outdoor hot tub—which was very large! The afternoon sun shone down on it so it was very comfortable in the 30 degree weather. We met a lot of other travelers there and had many fun conversations.
The bedrooms had king sized beds in them and private bathrooms; there was a third bathroom in the unit as well. The living room / dining area was plenty comfortable for four people.
Front desk staff were helpful (often there were several people waiting).
The only downfall was “the maze” to find the front desk and the pool—more signage by each elevator would be helpful. It took a few days to figure out which elevator to take to what floor and direction off the elevator.
We would consider staying there again.

Lodge is in a convenient location, however is not in walking distance of ski lifts. Shuttle service is excellent. About a 2 min ride to canyons village.

Upon checking in approximately 3pm, we received keys to our room, however it had yet to be cleaned by housekeeping staff. Front desk apologized and refunded us a few bucks, our room was promptly cleaned shortly thereafter.

There are fewer amenities at this location than other lodges (front desk is not staffed 24 hours, no restaurant in building, although there is a kosher deli a short walk from front desk which we didn’t realize until our last night there, fitness center is a bit lacking for my liking but I burned enough calories skiing I didnt feel the need to use it.)

The staff was kind enough to offer us late checkout as we had a 5pm flight and wanted to ski the day we were departing which was excellent!

Residents and other guests were very friendly.

I would stay here again.

When I arrived, i got a queen room (despite booking a king - they told me nothing else was available when I arrived) the toilet was not flushed, which made me feel the bathroom wasn't appropriately cleaned. When I opened the blinds, the wood valance fell off and hit me, the phone didn't work, and it sounded like the people next door were in our room (and they weren't making any unusual noise or being loud). I alerted the front desk to the issues but they seemed unconcerned (albeit very nice), they fixed the valance, but had no housekeeping staff to clean the bathroom and the phone was never fixed. I eventually received a call from the manager, who deduced the resort fee from my bill. I'd rather have a clean bathroom than a small refund. Many of the signs were worn to the point of being useless, there was never any pool towels available so enjoying the small hot tub wasn't an option, the garbage in the room piled up because there was only one small wastebasket and it was never emptied. I have never paid so much for a room in Park City (and I have been there 8-10 times) and I have never had worse service in a hotel. Frankly, it was shameful how poorly kept this hotel was.

Note-this is our 3rd time staying at this place and we had a different unit every time. Two couples in a two bedroom unit.

Positives: Kitchen had most every utensil you would need, shower was powerful, there was a pool and hot tub available (Monday-Thursday it was very accessible but the weekend had the hot tub packed with people); one of the the shuttles brought us to the SunDial Lodge which was close to the base; after 10pm it was pretty quiet for sleeping; it’s close to the base of Canyons and we could walk down for a meal at Drafts Burger Bar; they have underground parking which is super nice because of all of the snow; they do provide shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion in their bathrooms. There was a washer, dryer and detergent available in the unit.

Needs Work(for the price we paid we think they could have done better): No towels by the pool (we had to return to our room to get a towel); the beds were first covered in plastic and then a regular top sheet, not a fitted sheet which made the sleeping hot and required us to re-tuck our sheets in every morning as the sheets had pulled out; they need to communicate what can be requested at the front desk (we found out later we could have requested a vaporizer and puzzles which we had purchased in town); they used to provide robes in the rooms to wear down to the hot tub/pool and they no longer do this; they need to “shock” the hot tubs earlier in the day when no one is using it not right before heavy use; the fridge had a missing shelf; the microwave worked some of the time; we were not provided with any kitchen towels/cloths so had to use a washcloth to wash dishes; one of the closets in a bedroom were locked off by the owner so could not use.

I am writing this review from my bed at the property:) We are here on a family ski vacation, two adults and three roughly teenage kids.

Location: the location is 'ok'. You have to walk quite a bit to get to the gondola base area. There is a shuttle which is a very short ride, but said shuttle leaves you in a random spot with an uphill walk plus about 30 stairs, not ideal carrying skis and gear.

Parking:free garage parking available

Room:we had a two bedroom suites which is essentially three rooms adjoined with an ante room which houses a combo washer dryer unit. There is a king bed in each room and a fold out couch bed, with no linens other than calling housekeeping.

There is a full kitchen and three bathrooms with showers, one per room or section of you will. The room has a small balcony with a few chairs, no real view. I find the room to be very claustrophobic personally.

The rooms do not have dressers and minimal options for clothing storage which is quite strange. The showers have low pressure and very difficult to regulate temperature. The rooms come with minimal ammount of towels and no housekeeping service unless you call. Like other lodges in the area the elevators and walk times within the lodge are annoyingly long and the only entry point is the main entrance.

The gym if you can call it that, is quite lame by today's standards with minimal equipment and no appeal whatsoever.

There is a tiny lobby which has nothing in it, no food, no coffee and no welcoming staff. This is very much a DIY type of deal.

We had a horrible fire alarm around midnight where the whole place emptied out in PJs jarred from bed which was interesting.

Neighboring properties seem to be much higher end than this, but I can say where they stand price wise.

Overall this lodge is ok if you are used to doing things self service. For the money this lodge charges though, I expect a lot more, personally.

My wife and I stayed at the lodge at the beginning of the ski season. The room was small. It had a trundle bed that dropped down from a wall cabinet. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable.

On a positive note, the skiing was excellent for this time of year and transfer from the hotel to the lift was quick and efficient. The resort has an app that contacts the shuttle and provides your exact location. I’m 73, so I try to minimize walking up hills at altitude carrying my equipment. I discovered I could take the shuttle to the Cabriolet transport lift which connected to the village at Canyons. That way, I devoted my energy to skiing instead of packing.

We stocked up with food at Costco in Salt Lake, so our meals were inexpensive. We love going to restaurants in Park City but were afraid of COVID.

The hotel staff was friendly and efficient.

We just completed our stay at Silverado. The location was perfect - five minute walk to skiing and the room was adequately spacious.

But sadly, our stay was disappointing. A few simple housekeeping requests went unanswered, but our main problem was the construction was woefully problematic. We could easily hear conversations from guests in neighboring rooms, including their plans for breakfast! Overnight we heard constant dripping and knocking noises. A loud, constantly-turning on HVAC system kept us up at night. It was difficult to get a night's sleep. Given all of the overnight noises and disturbances, this stay was unfortunately not worth the rate we paid.

I stayed at the Silverado Lodge with recently for a ski vacation with my husband and some extended family. We rented two condos with 2 bedrooms each. The kitchens were both well stocked with plenty of cooking/eating supplies. We loved having a big open shared space in both condos which allowed plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. Fireplaces in each room and balconies were a wonderful added touch. The hot tub was amazing after a long day on the slopes. Access to the base of Canyons resort was pretty easy - about a 10 minute walk (in ski boots) from our rooms to the lift. Ski valet right next to the lift was awesome so you didn't have to lug skis and poles from the slopes back to the room each night. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in getting whatever we needed. We would definitely stay here again for another ski trip in the future!

Our family of 4 greatly enjoyed our week long stay at Silverado Lodge in Canyons Village, Park City. We had our 7 and 12 year old with us and we skied everyday we were there. The location was convenient to the mountain. We took the free shuttle to the top of the Cabriolet each day rather than walk since it is a bit of an uphill walk. Without the kids we probably would've just walked but the shuttle was an easy and nice method of transportation. Our 2 bedroom, 3 full bathroom unit was newly remodeled and perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc which was great as we cooked and ate in most nights. We had a nice patio with furniture we sat on daily and took in the views! The pool and hot tub were always open and the front desk staff were friendly and available when we needed something. There isn't any daily housekeeping but you can schedule it and pay an extra fee to have your room cleaned. We didn't need to and only called front desk when we needed more toilet paper, towel service and trash pickup. The only signs of construction we saw was some exposed ceiling sections but it wasn't bothersome and we never heard any construction noise. We also valeted our skis each day inside the front lobby and each morning they'd already be waiting outside for us to grab just before hopping on the shuttle. There was underground garage parking at the lodge as well. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would stay at the Silverado Lodge again!

Very nice location for skiers! The snow on the lower elevation slopes tends to be very mushy, though, so make sure you make your way up to the top!
