We rented a one bedroom last week from a private owner here. Westgate house keeping is responsible for cleaning the unit after each stay. The kitchen bench seat had what appeared to be white icing at four locations , plus a glob in the middle of the table. The unit had not been dusted in 1-2 months and was cleaned twice, in one day, after we asked a supervisor to come by the unit. Still, after that the kitchen tile floors had an inch wide strip of gunk built up along the baseboards. They also left the unit completely open, with our belongings exposed, after cleaning. Another day after hiking we return to find the refrigerator unplugged and blocking the entrance to the unit, with our food in it. A new refrigerator without handles and not unpacked was in the unit. We called engineering and was told that they just let Home Depot delivery into the unit and left. We were given no notice and once again our belongings were exposed to ?? We left a day early! This facility is very poorly maintained. The valet service and restaurants at the resort were good, but if you want a hassle free vacation and like things clean avoid this resort!!!

Just recently spent my birthday weekend here solo (10/23-26), & I must say This place is wonderful 🥰 they had Utah chocolate truffles and a bottle of sparkling cider awaiting me in my signature 1 bedroom villa🤭From the concierge, to the front desk, the transport guide, and especially the bellboys are extremely accommodating. I'd called ahead to let them know I would be arriving after 1030pm and they were prompt at getting me checked in. Even though it IS a true maze getting around there, the staff is ALWAYS around closely to guide you to your destination. Also, The elegant yet rustic & quaint decor speaks volumes. WILL be back!

There are certain images one thinks of when they hear the words "resort" and "penthouse suite." Those images are what we came here with (having never experienced either of those things). There is a lot I could say, both good and bad, but ultimately it comes down to this: Is it clean, and is the bed comfortable. Unfortunately, it was a hard no on both accounts. There are two things that make an overnight experience good. One is air quality. The carpets in Westgate are so old and worn, and the air in the suite where we stayed reeked of old carpet smell (mildew? age? dirty socks? the smell of a thousand feet before us). Stay away if you have asthma, COPD, or generally hate bad odors. The bed was extremely soft. I don't know how old that mattress was, but I felt like I was sleeping with my feet higher than my head. I ended up sleeping cross-wise at the base of the pull-out couch mattress. The couch and living room furniture were extremely old and dusty, with a layer of dust on the coffee table. A fan runs non-stop and is very loud. Bring airplugs. During the day there was the sound of a jackhammer that sounded like it was right below us, so forget trying to take a nap. I don't care what amenities a place has, if you have zero confidence in the level of cleanliness, and you can't sleep well, it's really not a place you want to stay at. I gave it two stars because the staff was nice. Otherwise I would have given it none.

As an owner at another Westgate resort we had a great stay here. Our suite was clean and modern. The hotel is a maze getting to all the different sections but after a few days you figure it out. Since our stay was in the summer it was probably much quieter than during ski season. The parking garage and/or valet service makes it convenient to get around Park City area. The pools are clean and the grounds are all well kept.

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding. It was within walking distance of the wedding host hotel activities, which was booked up and $$$$$. The Westgate accommodations were clean and it was nice to have a suite format with a kitchenette. The hotel buildings are in a maze. Everyone was getting lost and it took at least 10 minutes to get to the lobby. Multiple elevators and walks down long halls from our room to Lobby. Our room had a door to the room next to us and the people in that room were very loud. There was a nice Beer and Burger located just outside our room at the hotel.

I had researched some of the hotels in the Park City area for a while, and came across Westgate. It was a great choice for a ski vacation. The location was right at the base of the Canyons. The hotel had plenty of amenities for skiers including valet service, ski rental, etc. I didn't even take advantage of all of the items available at the hotel. I did need to compliment the valet service as they were excellent. The hotel provides a free shuttle to get around a few places in the area. When I really needed it to get medicine for my spouse, the hotel quickly arranged a shuttle and took me to the pharmacy which was in one of the shopping destinations the shuttles goes to. There are several restaurants around the hotel, and the ski mountain has several places to grab lunch if you're skiing on the mountain. The hotel had a large indoor / outdoor pool, as well as indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. There are other amenities including a spa, locker room, etc. Everyone was friendly, service was good, and the family had a great time. Thank you Westgate!

such a great experience. very clean facility. the staff was insanely nice!! super accomodating. I read some bad reviews on about the restaurants but I was please with our experiences there. It is a maze! So get ready to get lost but overall great place! Also big perk, they had a steam shower in our room, which was insanely helpful when on daughter had suddent onset of croup! Thank goodness we had that! I wish they serviced our room but they said they don't clean daily due to covid, bummer but COVID ruins a lot of things.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in: when I complained the person at the front desk said 'that's our brand", I would be embarrassed to be affiliated with that type of brand. the place is dirty, run down, maze of confusion, smelly, No priority at the restaurants after skiing, thick dust on baseboards, toilet seats don't fit on toilet, fixtures in bathroom rusted or don't work (steam shower); sheets cheap and filled with holes, towels threadbare, sofa bed disgusting, after paying a small fortune for this horrible room they had the nerve to charge for yoga classes (after also paying for a 'resort' fee), the TVs on all 4 of the treadmills in the Rocky Balboa-esqe work out room didn't work and there was NO staff member to assist. They tell you that there is free parking at the hotel, but it's valet, so you have to tip everytime you go in and out. Same as the towels. There was no regular housekeeping (based on how dirty our room was, no housekeeping at all), and you had to keep asking for towels thus another tip. I accidentally left my computer charger there and not only did they charge me $25 to ship it to me (after paying a fortune to stay in a hovel), they had no system to locate it. After we left I assume housekeeping goes in to pretend to clean. at that point they should have noticed that something doesn't belong there and turned in the item. At that point, the hotel should have contacted us. Instead I hade to go through a 3rd party finding service which was BS because the return address was the Westgate!!!

We could not travel last year but made up for it this year with 2 weeks at the resort. I can understand all the other reviewers mentioning the terrible confusing layout. It has not changed in years. We stayed in the Bear Lodge side this year and in order to get to the boot locker we had to take the elevator to the 5th floor, walk thru the pool area!!!! something that is totally unacceptable and also needs the key card to get in, then down one floor to the boots and then up again to the 6th floor to get out to the ski area. We are used to it now, but still every year is a challenge not to get lost. Upon check in we were told that there was no house keeping and I could live with it. When calling the front desk for trash pick up, that happened promptly, also when needing extra towels and sheets. There is a broom and dustbin in the unit and we could sweep the living room area/kitchen as needed. The staff is mostly very friendly; since we did not ask for help, I cannot comment on their efficiency. Front desk is doing a good job, at least in our opinion. True, other then the few restaurants at the Canyons, there is nothing else. One has to either take the hotel shuttle (available upon request) or, like in our case, we either took the resort shuttle to the Canyon Hub station, or the Cabriolet lift, or we walked (about 10 minute walk mostly downhill). The Park City buses come often enough and that works for us going to the grocery store and to restaurants. One thing I commented about every year is that upper management is non visible and it is hard to even get an appointment with them. Our suite 2B/2B was okay but updating would be nice. Especially in the kitchen where the laminate on the cabinets is peeling off and the dishwasher rusty. The new washer/dryer stackable units were a plus. The transportation/valet desk is not very efficient. We store our ski gear and it is delivered by a service. They could not find it when we asked. I called the storage service and they told me it was delivered the evening before our arrival and gave me the storage number. Then the staff could find it immediately. Not very efficient in my opinion.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!! They lure you in by being ski in/ski out which is great, but the customer service could not be worse! We had to store our bags with them on our final day of our stay so that we could go skiing because they said someone was going to be checking into our room after us, and they somehow managed to LOSE ALL OF OUR BAGS!!! Not only did they just seemingly disappear, they have been reluctant to do ANYTHING to help us get them back. We lost so many of our valuable items, including important medication, and they really just don’t seem to care at all. With all the money you have to pay just for the privilege of staying here, it is absolutely not worth it. There are so many amazing other places to stay in Park City, DO NOT PICK THIS ONE! It is really a shame, because I was enjoying the stay up until then, and people seemed like they would be nice enough to at least help us look into this issue, but they just haven’t been. It’s all very disappointing.
