The location is great, but not worth the price and quality of stay, and I was completely surprised. One thing to note- NOTHING opens for breakfast or coffee until 7:30am, which is insane to me. Also there is no food on premise, which is also bizarre. Staff are nice and helpful, but would rather stay at full service resort for the money.
Stayed here for a few days to shred some powder. We had a room that overlooked a blue run and it was so enjoyable to just sit in the warmth by the fire place and watch the skiers go by. The rooms as always well appointed with everything needed to stay there. The kitchen and furniture definitely showed some age but I know In 2021 they are doing a big refresh of all rooms so that will be nice. The location is just perfect and the pools and hot tubs were hot so it was great!!
Spent two weeks at this property a combination of work and play during the pandemic. It is in a prime location as others have noted. The two bedroom Villa was comfortable for a family of four. The kitchen well equiped for cooking. Staff very accommodating. All the things we requested(extra towels, coffee, tea, detergent) were all brough quickly. Covid restrictions respected. Hot tubs are amazing, with views of the mountain. The units feell like well stocked serviced apartments, that just happen to be at the base of a world class ski resort. Staff was uniformly accommodating. Only slight niggle was that concierge staff was not as helpful with covid friendly dining suggestions as we would have hoped. We look forward to returning next year.
The staff is so welcoming, everyone was super helpful as we checked in. We quickly made our hot tub reservations and found out where to park where everything was etc. We stayed in a guest villa because the one bedroom villas were all booked up but the guest villas actually had plenty of room. it has a kitchenette an a little bar area for two in the room where we ate the bagels and cream cheese we bought and drank coffee every morning. There was plenty fo space fork our gear and clothes between the closet and dresser. The hot tubs were amazing, we schedule a reservation for your party to be covid safe. In the afternoon they offer "acres ski" usually a drink of some sort. They have a ski valet too. We took advantage fo everything and cannot wait to come back next year. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Oh you cannot beat the location, literally ski in and ski out, pay day express is in your backyard.…
Very nice hotel. Stayed in the two bedroom villa. Great space for our family. Room had a full kitchen. Beds comfortable. This location of the hotel with the ski in ski out is fantastic (next to the Pay Day lift). Also two restaurants right outside the hotel- Baja Cantina Restaurant has great food, affordable, and is casual. The jacuzzi was by reservation due to covid but we had no problems getting a reservation (24 hrs ahead of time). Parking is great with an underground parking garage which is wonderful when it is snowing. Skiing was great of course. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Worth paying a little more for convenience and the great location.
