We rented a 3 bedroom 4bathroom condo for March break and were delighted with the location and accommodations. The condo was beautiful with 2 hot-tubs. Rooms were huge and fit a large family. We were right across the street from the mid-mountain lodge which was ideal. We avoided the crowds at the base of the mountain and enjoyed Silver lake...

We stayed one week at the Black Bear Lodge run by Wyndham. We had daily house keeping, full kitchen, two adequate baths and bedrooms, plus pull out couch. it was adequate for two families and and two children. The front desk was efficient. The freshly baked cookies always welcomed. The only complaint we had was the snow was so plentiful...

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review! It sounds like you had a lovely trip. All that snow is what we call a champagne problem. We love the fresh snow, but it makes for lots of work! We hope you'll be back to see us again soon. Cheers, Alicia S. Wyndham Vacation Rentals

Let me start by saying that, the main reason to rent a condo at Black Bear Lodge is if you like most people cannot or will not pay $1200/night for a basic hotel room at the Stein/St. Regis / Montage. If you can or are willing to pay for those properties, then you should. For the rest of us this...

I booked a trip for my wife and I and another couple to visit the Silver Lake area of Deer Valley via HomeAway. So, it was a privately owned (not Wyndham managed) unit. Here are thoughts on our stay in Unit 402. Arrival / Check-in: Greg, the owner, was wonderful and gave us the door code before arrival, so there...

We had a great trip. Glad we stayed at Black Bear Lodge. (Unit 408A) LOCATION: Easy walk (1 block?) to the lifts. Deer Valley has complimentary ski and boot storage, so you can leave all of your gear at the bottom of the lift and not lug it to the Lodge. Free hotel shuttle to downtown, and they're very accommodating....

Unit 201 was a fantastic corner unit with great views of the mountains. The unit had plenty of space for my wife and I and two little boys (5 and 1) plus one of our grandma's. The Lodge is right across the street from the ski lift and with the on-site storage at Deer Valley it made it easy getting...

Black Bear Lodge is just a couple doors down from a couple of very expensive hotels, offering the same access to restaurants and the ski slopes (+ 50ft of extra walking). Our condo (#305) was comfortable and roomy with a private hot tub on the balcony. and a view of the ski hills at about 1/3rd the price of the...

We stayed in a one bedroom. It was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The hotel is across the street from the Park City free bus and three buildings from Deer Valleys mid mountain lodge (silver lake lodge). No need for ski in ski out, this is essentially the same for a little less. There is no restaurant on site, but...

This was our second stay at Black Bear Lodge. The internet for our unit did not work. Also the ice-maker in the refrigerator did not work. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay in close proximity to Silver Lake Lodge.

“Spiral stair case up to loft is tricky. There is no bathroom up there. So be prepared for that. Room for 4 in the loft. 1 queen 2 twins. The people up there shared a bathroom with 2 people in one of the downstairs' 2 bedrooms (both with king beds). Nicely furnished. Good Kitchen. Overall very pleased.”

“Beds were far too high (and dangerous) for average person (must be designed for giants), needed a chair to climb up on to bed! Rustic timber bed frame jutting out from normal bed head and bed stead alignment was dangerous.”
