The Silver King is a clean, well-kept property with nicely decorated rooms and a beautiful pool/hot tub area. Silver King is just under a mile walk from downtown Park City, and it is at the base of the ski mountain. The service was very accommodating as well, allowing us to delay check in until 1:00 after our flight was cancelled. I recommend this spot!
This was our second time here and we could not have asked for a better location during our four day ski trip in December. Each condo is privately owned and the condo we had this time just fitted our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped with two different coffee makers and we had a good breakfast every morning before hitting the slopes. Our bathroom also had a large jacuzzi tub. The best part about the Silver King is the location. We just needed to walk on a parking lot to get to the ski lifts We will be back!
This was our 1st trip to ski Park City and we took a chance on Silver King Lodge. The location is perfect! It is a very short walk to to lifts and ski rentals/valet and right on the bus stop if you don't have a car. Our studio condo had everything we needed and was well-appointed: Comfortable bed and plenty of soap, shampoo, and lotions provided. Our room had a humidifier which was helpful since, being from Houston, we're not usedto the dry air! The pool/hot tub was nice and we had a big jacuzzi tub in the room as well; very relaxing after skiing. Check-in & check-out were easy. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was in the 200 hall so there was no foot traffic of skiiers coming and going. This made for quiet nights Overall we would choose this property again!…
Great location! Can't beat it! Practically ski in/ski out. We had a one bedroom condo and the Room was a nice size for a family of 4. Plenty of space. Easy walk to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again.
My husband and I visited Park City for our anniversary trip at the end of August this year! We had never been to Park City or the Salt Lake City area, so when I searched for where we would stay, I used Hotels.com to help narrow down the search. We stayed in a Deluxe Studio Condo. Prior to getting to the property, I was emailed ahead of time with a property guide that was very helpful. It provide the necessary information needed for check-in, parking, and much more. Check-in and Check-out were very smooth. We checked in during a time when someone was at Guest Services. They were friendly and helpful. Similar process for check-out, but instead we left our key in a drop box located in the parking garage. The Silver King has a parking garage on the lower level of the property which was great and paid for with our reservation. Parking on property made the decision to rent a car much easier. No hidden fee for parking upon arrival. The garage was operable using the room key. From our experience, we found the garage to be secure. The Deluxe Studio Condo was good, but could have been better. When we opened the door to the room, we were greeted with an odd smell. It wasn't from smoking, but we couldn't determine where is was coming from. We ended up purchasing some Febreze. It sort of helped. I think after a few days were started to get used to it, but I can't say it was a pleasant smell upon entering the room each time. I do feel that photos were a bit deceiving in regards to the overall size of the room, but there was plenty of space for two people comfortably. I cannot speak to the utensils much as we didn't have much of a need for them. But I will say our room did not have a pizza cutter - thought that would be a common item to include. Other common kitchen utensils and dinnerware seemed to be present. The bed was queen size and quite firm and pillows soft - almost too soft. Perhaps the pillows were an attempt to make up for the firmness of the bed. The bathroom was plenty big and the condo also had a washer and dryer and a pull out sofa. We did not have use for any on our trip. In addition to the odd smell in our room, the window placement was odd. We had about 8 feet of large windows leading to an awkward corner with no view whatsoever. If you like lots of natural light, this is not the place for you. Our windows were a direct view into the middle of the hotel, odd. So be aware when you need the blinds closed. Side note on the blinds, they're quite dark and there is no sheer for privacy, just blinds. Wish there was an in-between option for when we wanted some light but privately. I will say that the Silver King is a good location. Next door to one of the Park City Mountain Resort villages and about a 15 minute walk to Main Street. The area is very pedestrian friendly, at least during the warmer months of the year. Overall, our stay at the Silver King was okay, not sure if I would stay again.…
The best place to stay in park city without breaking the bank!! Loved the pool and hot tub and the room was very nice with jacuzzi tub for two and skylight in the room. Slept like a baby , we will definitely return again!!
My family goes to this hotel year after year for last 12 years during last week of March. This year we were first week of April. Even after so many years we still like this hotel. The only issue we had is one queen bed and one bunk bed. And myself and my son are adults. The hotel has no other rooms.
Excellent location!! Had all I needed. Perfect for family and main attraction skiing. Bedding and towels were sufficient for a party of 4. Highly recommend it. Kids friendly. Personal is kind and ready to attend you.
We had a really great service, the staff gives you all you need and everyone is so kind. The hotel is beside the lift and the bus stop. I’m sure me and my family will come back here next year !!! Thanks
Cut through the parking lot on the mountain side and you're right at the complex with ski shops, coffee shops, other lodging, ice skating and ski lifts. Bus stop to downtown Main Street, etc right outside the door. Indoor-outdoor pool and hot tub (with towels). 7-11 two blocks away. Fantastic grocery store (Fresh Market), Starbucks, Walgreens a couple of more blocks away. Ski lockers. Fireplace (buy logs and starters at Fresh Market). Entranceway and rooms being renovated.
