We had an amazing stay at Sundial Lodge, remembering working in the area about 20 years ago and being our dream to stay in a brand new hotel back in the days. The vibrant atmosphere and the friendly staff made our stay memorable. Thank you!

Manager Jeff very kindly upgraded me to a 1BR room with a Forum view, after Trent (front desk staff) brought it up to him. That made for an exceptional first time experience with the Sundial Lodge. It makes me feel that Management values the experience of their customer above economic considerations and will do what they can to achieve that. The valet/ski lounge team (Walter, Ignacio and others) who unloaded my luggage from the car and brought it to the room were extremely friendly and helpful. (Note: This is no longer a service available at many hotels so to have this help is extremely appreciated especially with ski baggage.) The Sundial Ski Lounge enables us to store our skis and boots immediately upon return to the hotel and to put them on just before we step out from the hotel. The Sundial hotel is a less than 5 mixtures walk to the Red Pine Gondola which makes it practically ski-in / ski-out convenient. There is an underground secured carpark provided. The apartment I was in B410B was part of a 2 BR set up. There is a full range of kitchen appliances, utensils, cookware, crockery and cutlery which are all very new. Access to washer & dryer in apartment is a huge advantage - albeit they are shared with the next door apartment which makes up the 2 BR unit. All in everything about this experience was great, and the people made the largest difference to the experience. Will definitely be a top choice any time I come back to Park City.

Most important thing to note for folks who have not stayed here before is that the quality/conditions of the units can vary from "so-so" to "excellent". We've had both and aren't sure we're ready to roll the dice again in the future. While I was there, one guest was at the front desk speaking to the manager and very angry about the poor condition of the unit they had just checked into, felt he'd been misled particularly for how much they were being charged. The location and staff are terrific, just need to be ready to roll the dice on the quality of rental unit you get.

We were very disappointed with our experience of staying in apartment C407A at the Sundial Lodge in Canyons Village near Park City. It is absolutely not good value. We were on a 5 week holiday in the USA and this was by far the most expensive accommodation and was also the poorest. To put it into perspective we stayed at some lovely 5 star luxury hotels for much less, including the Grand America hotel in Salt Lake City and the Palazzo in Las Vegas where we stayed in extremely spacious and well appointed suites. Our room in the Sundial had a partially painted ceiling in the living room/ bedroom room and in the en-suite. The half used tins of paint were even left in the wardrobe! The company’s description of this “studio style living room with a kitchenette “ on which we based our booking was grossly inaccurate. It described a “jetted tub/shower combination bath that would provide a spa like experience “ which turned out to be a walk in shower only. The “kitchenette” claimed to have “all the essentials to prepare light meals and snacks during your stay”. While it has a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, there was not even a teaspoon, let alone any other cutlery, crockery or any kitchen utensils. Housekeeping initially said they could not provide any of this for us. Eventually they managed to russle up a few rudimentary items. The official advertising has now been slightly altered since our visit but I would still make specific enquiry about this apartment before booking. The manager, who was rather elusive, having failed to call us back as promised, did agree to reimburse us for 1 of our nights although he was initially rather dismissive of our complaints. We did receive a refund but not for the amount he had agreed to.

I booked for a month in a large one bedroom. The room was fine, but the moment I stepped in I noticed a bad odor. They said it just needed to be aired out and air filters changed. Well a week later it still stunk and finally maintenance admitted to the smell of oil frying from the nearby restaurant affecting the room. They knew it was a problem and still rented out this unit before fixing it...and for a month! I am still waiting for a resolution for over a week now as there is not a lot of options to change as it gets busy. I stayed previously and had a fine experience in a different room. So the bottom line, be careful when booking because of high levels of inconsistencies in the rooms.

Would love to give the resort a higher rating but when you arrive for a ski trip to find out that the ski patrol is on strike is unacceptable. I would think a little bit of communication with customers would have gone a long way. When the gondola wait is two hours and then when you get to the lifts up the mountain are down that is unacceptable for a family that was going to Park City to ski.
The location was great as the gondola is on-site.
The room was decent except that the water temperature and pressure in the master suite was not great making it almost unusable especially when the water was cold.

The staff at Sundial were so friendly and helpful! We loved the ski valet service (free!) and the staff there helped us figure out how to get to the other side of the mountain so we didn't have to pay for a cab. The front desk person was super friendly and she helped us with anything we asked for. The room itself had a kitchenette, with coffee included, which was a pleasant surprise. Just felt the whole stay exceeded our expectations! We also loved the location being near the Canyon gondolas on the mountain!

The room fell far short of expectations and was quite disappointing. The front desk staff seemed uninterested in addressing the issues we faced. The bed was uncomfortable, and the room had almost no lighting. Additionally, the lack of staff availability for a late-night check-in added to the frustration. Having stayed at various properties over the years, this experience was particularly unsatisfactory.

This is the second time we've stayed at this lodge. The best thing about this place is hands down the location. Right at the base of Canyon village and 1 min walk to the gondola. Easy access to restaurants, shops and the slopes. They have a ski valet on the bottom floor in the lobby where you check your gear in and out.
It was better than the first time! We stayed in the C building (across from the lobby). For two adults and two children, we usually get a one bedroom and this time, the room was a lot larger than last year which was a bonus. I also love the shared (between two units) laundry and that soap and dryer sheets were provided. New soap dispensers - instead of small hotel sized soaps, they now do large dispensers. Not as sanitary, but at least we didn't have to keep asking for soap.
I love the full kitchen and appreciate that the staff keep it stocked with a brand new soap, sponge and most of the utensils you need. Like a knife set (dulled from multiple use), variety of pots and pans, spatulas, etc.
Staff were always very responsive and very pleasant
First time I've used the gym and it was adequate with weights and two treadmills, a rower, bicycle, bands, three sizes of stability balls, two rollers, two mats, a bathroom, tv, kettle bells. Small space but pretty nicely equipped. Bring your own water bottle for a fill up (they have a dispenser).
This place would only be better if they: 1. offered pick up from Salt Lake City airport 2. had a covered or inside heated pool - our friends were staying at the Westlake and while their layout was awful and their room minuscule, the pool area was awesome!

Dear Rx-art, It sounds like you ran into some frustrating issues regarding your reservation. Unfortunately, there was a failure to communicate important details about your stay, and we did not receive the information necessary to smoothly accommodate your stay. There are a lot of potential reasons that your booking wasn't correctly passed along, but the specifics aren't important. What matters is that you had a difficult time. We are sorry that you had such a hard time, and wish we could have done more for you at the time. Our staff did everything possible to accommodate your needs once they were made aware of your problem, but we know that it was hardly the ideal experience we attempt to provide to each of our guests. To avoid the possibility of a similar failure in the future, we invite you to book your next reservation directly through All Seasons Resort Lodging. We provide a suite of direct booking benefits—including our Lowest Rate Guarantee and True Blue Perks program—that will help you get the most out of your stay. Again, we're sorry that you had such a frustrating experience with your booking, but we hope to see you again in the future under better circumstances. Sincerely, Sundial Lodge at Canyons Village

My family (husband and two teenage kids) stayed here for a week over the New Year's holiday. We stayed in penthouse studio condo #510B (booked it through a condo booking site). I will start by saying that the condo is more spacious than it looks in the photos. There was plenty of room for all of us (and luggage) and everything is well designed and organized in order to maximize the space. The high ceilings also made the space feel large. We loved the fact that the condo was updated with a nice kitchen (well stocked)/laundry area, clean bathroom with plenty of storage/hooks/mirrors and updated furniture.
The Sundial Lodge is conveniently located within Canyons Village and we had a very easy walk to both the Red Pine Gondola and the Orange Bubble Chairlift for four days of skiing. Also, it is a quick and easy walk to the Cabriolet, which will bring you down to the bus stop, for heading into downtown Park City or to the base of Park City Mountain (the bus is extremely convenient, efficient, clean and FREE). In my opinion, the Sundial has the best location in Canyons Village.
The ski valet and boot room was well organized and a great spot to get ready and end the day on the mountain. The guys who work in there are extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, we discovered that we left one of our bags (with our ski boots) at the airport in Salt Lake City. One of the guys (Shane) overheard us and immediately offered to drive my husband to the airport to retrieve it. How impressive and kind is that?! That gesture set the tone for our entire vacation and everyone we encountered at the Sundial could not have been more helpful.
I would definitely recommend this condo and we would love to stay here again!

When we were there, there were tables and chairs around the pool that you could group together if no one else is using them. There were also tables and chairs on the sundeck where the hot tubs are (I think on the 4th floor).

We were there in the summer. There were a lot of families with children but we didn't find it to be noisy. I don't know what it will be like in January.
There are more places to choose from in the Park City area.
